Strain Relief

The fabric cord is shredding near the lightning plug after 11 months. It still works, but just a matter of time that the exposed wires will break.

Bought 3, but 1 has failed after eight months.
I bought three of these cables, one for each car for apple car play. Every time we drive, there is an iphone plugged in. So far one of the three has failed. It feels like the lightning end has come loose in its plastic covering, which probably means a broken solder point. Otherwise I like the braiding, which helps the cable hold its shape, and the short length is tidy for car interiors. The remaining two cables I purchase appear to be fine., therefore a 2/3 success rate most closely equals 3/5 star rating.

Functionally fine, But won't fit in the port on an Otterbox Case.
As the title says. It seems it's a fine cable, but the casing around the end is too bulky to fit in the cutout port of the Otterbox case.

This is much better than the cheap cable Apple supplies with its phones. Apple has a history of flimsy power cords and the like, which is ironic given how expensive their products are. In any event, I am very pleased with this one and think it will be difficult to damage it. Well worth the cost, which is about half of what Apple charges for a new one.

Palette Lightning cable works well
Got Palette braided cables because previous unbraided cables cracked, exposing inner metal conductor. So far the braided cable seems more flexible so less likely to crack. Rated 4 rather than 5 stars only because I haven't had chance to test them long-term.
