Q: why is there no pictures of the right side of cabinet open? description says two shelves for the right side but not much info besides that.
submitted by GB10 crafter - 6 years ago
A: Good question. I saw this in another site and the pictures were so much better. Based on the other pics i am ordering it. When it’s open the middle stores the sewing machine and provides room for your legs. The cabinet to the right looks to be about 12-15 wide.
submitted byLadyfreit - 6 years agoA: The right side has two adjustable shelves. The opening is 11" wide 15 1/2 deep by 24 1/2" high.

Q: What are overall dimensions with the drop leaf table up? The pictures look much bigger than what the "overall dimensions" are saying, so not sure if those include the leaf table?
submitted by Meagan - 2 years ago
A: With the drop leaf up, the table is 62 1/8" wide, 19 1/2" deep and 28 1/2" high. The table is 40" wide with the drop leaf down.

The sewing desk looks nice.
I will be using the desk to sew. The instructions were excellent. I put all the pieces for the desk in order like in the instruction manual stated. I did need help with lifting the desk after assembly. I was disappointed with the way the leave extension works. When I lowered the extension it hit onto the doors and it is now damaged on both pieces.

Great converting crafting table
I am impressed by this product in many ways. Not only is it a beautiful piece it's very sturdy and has so many options for making it my own. Instructions were very well done, shows exactly how to position pieces for assembly (many other products don't tell you which side faces which direction). Would highly recommend!

Overall a nice piece of furniture after assembly
Out of the box, took my husband about 90 minutes to assemble. Be very careful that the screws/nails are straight because if not, when you need to "try again" it's super easy to scratch the piece. There are points during assembly when an extra set of hands are needed. The piece feels sturdy, but the knobs feel flimsy and one knob wasn't cut correctly so can't attach to the door

Holds all of my sewing supplies (except for fabrics) in one
Overall, I like my cabinet and it works well and I would recommend it to others. I would mention that it takes a long time to assemble this item for one middle aged lady. Plan on having a helper around when you assemble this cabinet, otherwise plan on making a day of it.

Compact and easy to use
This is my second sewing cabinet from Sauder replacing one that was damaged in a move. It's not the sturdiest piece of furniture (movers broke off a wheel) but if you don't treat it roughly, it will last awhile. My first one lasted 20 years.

Perfect!!
It's perfect for me! I don't have much space, so I can store it in a spare bedroom and roll it out to the great room when I need to use it.

Good product
I was able to put the product together fairly easily, although there was one hole for a caster that was drilled a bit off center so the caster would not fit without enlarging the hole a bit.

Excellent!
I am 80 years old, and I put this together by myself. Every piece was there and fit exactly as it was supposed to. And the result is a beautiful cabinet!

Love thos craft desk
It folds up and is perfect for a small space but when wanting to do crafts, easy ebough to open up everything is pretty much at arms length with the shelving and small spaces that hold wooden coasters or glue sticks or whatever you need. Space for an oron and laptop and a monotor. Pretty perfect side with out beong overwhelming and looks like a really nice peice of furnature.

The sewing cabinet was easy to assemble & looks great.
I use it for all my sewing notions, two machines, and work area is very useful. It was delivered with one small chip in the top of the main door, but fortunately the opening table top covers it most of the time. Also the markings for attaching the door latch did not line up with the holes under the fold up table, so my husband had to move the latch over. But that was a minor adjustment really. It was very easy to assemble and looks attractive too.

Beautiful product
Great instructions for assembly. Turned out nicely. A little challenging were small nuts with the caster metal frames for my older hands. Also found leveling of doors hard for older hands as well. Use helpers.
