I’m glad there is a hotlink that has absolutely no pork in it and that it doesn’t have a pork casing like other brands. Even tho its a hotlink it isn’t to hot like other hot links the spice is a good amount.

Bought these today because I love hot links. These taste good BUT there’s no hot! It doesn’t even have the hint of spiciness. These shouldn’t be called hot links!

Not hot, just seasoned
Its truly not hot/spicy. Its just seasoned. I would say i only have a moderate spice tolerance and I can't taste any heat from it. I wasnt expecting super spicy when I bought it, but after reading some of the reviews I was. It's as hot as black pepper or bbq sauce.

Packaging Failure
I've been buying these Beef Hot Links for years. I noticed some changes a few years back but they were still ok. Now they are packed in this easy peel plastic . It is too easy to peel and the plastic doesn't stick or reseal. Be prepared to eat them all or find a zip lock or container to store them. This package also is easily compromised when be boxed and stocked. I opened them and immediately could tell right away they did not smell the same. They smelled funny almost like rotten meat. The taste is off too. After supporting Johnsonville for over 20 years I will no longer buy anything they make. Go back to your original recipe and packaging and i'll buy again.

Warning these are Spicy!
I purchased these last Saturday and thought it would be a good protein substitute to put in lunches. However when I read it I thought I just said beef links as it was just smoked beef sausage. I did not know that it was going to be spicy. Nowhere on the label tells me it's spicy it just says hot links which to me says hey I can eat them hot not that they are spicy. I even checked the list of ingredients and there's nothing in there that says anything about it being spicy. Unfortunately I'm going to have to throw all of them away because I can't tolerate any spice and I would not have bought them had I known. Such a waste.

These had the worst aftertaste. I grilled them, threw some brown mustard on top and eeeek. Tasted like earth or dirt or something not palatable. Never again.

These are NOT hot links. The size is now closer to hotdog size and the spice is barely there. It is not that it isn’t tasteful but that it is not a hot link.

I love these but they are difficult to find in my area. I not only eat them on a bun but fry them to render any fat then slice and put in my pinto beans with some ham. Fantastic!
