Pretty botanical light, but shade blocks a lot of light.

Pretty, botanical light! I love the look of it, however, the shade blocks the light so that when the light is turned on, you cannot see the light through the shade. There was also a sticky substance on the lower rim of the shade, perhaps glue?

I have not installed these just yet as I am still under construction - BUT - when these lights came in and I checked them I was SO happy!! They were packed well, nothing was broken and they are just so beautiful!! I can NOT wait to have them hung - my mom also loved them SO much she's trying to decide where she might be able to one in her home also!
