The Scotch Porter Shape & Hold Beard Balm is a non-greasy, medium hold beard balm that shapes and controls unruly beards without stiffness. Unlike the typical waxy, heavy balms that causes build up, our beard balm provides control, hydration, shine and tames flyaways. This Shea butter-based wax with Moringa seed oil and rice bran extract is a great complement to the Conditioning Beard Balm for those with dry, coarse beards. Finer, straighter beard textures are able to achieve beard goals by using the Shape & Hold Beard Balm to keep hair in place all day long.

Greasy, weird consistency, terrible product
The product's consistency is odd, like tapioca with small granules that don't fully disappear despite rubbing the balm between your fingers. The small granules can show up in your beard. The balm's consistency is oily/greasy, offers little to no beard hold for shaping, and is frustrating to apply without having the incompletely dissolved granules be visible. Most of Scotch Porter's beard products are top notch; this beard balm is terrible. Far better alternative products available.

Seals in Moisture and Helps Tame
I love using this in combination with the Conditioning Beard Balm in the Winter and with the Leave-In Beard & Hair Spray in the summer months. Helps to seal in moisture and helps with laying my beard hair down.

My husband's beard is on point!
My husband has a short beard but he likes to keep his hairs neat and smooth. What he loves about this product is it keeps his hairs in place that want do do their own thing after he brushes his beard. This shape and hold balm has a a textured/waxy feel but it's not super thick and it keeps his beard laid down. Oh and it smells amazing!

Great product
Currently using this product and it works fantastic. Its not heavy like other beard balms but it gets the job don with holding the hairs in place and in shape. Good change of pace fro the serum. Good stuff!
