for a small child only
the place the straw attached to this bottle is tiny. it also has a right release valve. I removed the release valve, but still with lots of sucking have only gotten an ounce or 2 out. this is best for a very small child.

Finally Kid size in colors my boys like!
These are great for kids- the large loop handle is wonderful, the rubberized boot at the bottom. Stays cold for a long time. I have twin boys and it is so hard finding water bottles in colors that they like. So many products are in pastels. One has the green/blue and the other has the orange/blue- perfect. The ombre pattern is unique and very nice. This is a good size for upper elementary kids.

Nice cup but not really good for keeping cold
I like the handle and the protective rings on the bottle but it does not keep ice or keep things cold for any length of time. My advice is to spend a little more money and get something truly insulated

For anyone else having issues with this being hard to suck water through, I trimmed a tiny bit off the bottom of the straw because it was suctioning itself to the bottom of the bottle and making it hard to get anything through the straw. Gorgeous color, have had no leaks, and is the perfect size for me. Love the noise reduction piece on the bottom also.

Thank you for your inquiry. All of our insulated stainless steel bottles can hold hot liquids. However, we do not recommend sipping hot liquid out of a straw lids as this may cause injury and the pressure from heat can cause the lid to leak. We do sell spout lids here: https://mythermoflask.com/products/thermoflask-costco-spout-lid-replacement-part as an accessory to fit most of our stainless steel bottles.

My favorite hiking water bottle because it is leakproof and spill proof while still holding enough water for the whole hike! Keeps water ice cold too! The handle is also super helpful hiking

Leaks when shaken.
This leaks. If you need to shake up the bottle to dissolve one of those electrolyte packets, water comes out from under the straw. It doesn’t seem to leak at other times, but I’m afraid to pack it in my kids’ backpacks. My child also has a more difficult time getting the lid on properly than her old Takeya sport bottle without straw.

I got the baby pink Takeya water bottle and it is so cute! The bottle is sturdy and i have dropped it a couple times and it hasn't dented. I like that it comes with the bumper on the bottom to soften landings and noise. It's very easy to wash and take care of. I have a bad habit of not refilling my water and leaving it out, and this keeps my water cold all day instead of it getting warm.
