Toxic smell
I only used it twice so I can’t speak on whether it’s good or not. The reason I only used it twice is because the chemical scent of it made me gag. The smell is awful and it surprised me since Raw Sugar is a clean brand. I’ve used a lot of their products and love them but this one is a huge NO!

Does not detangle
This product did not do a good job of getting the tangles out of my daughters hair. It also left her hair feeling dry. Only thing positive I can say is that it smells good.

Suds up like shampoo?
Pros: it smells really nice, the bottle is easy to use and it sprays out good. Cons: at first I noticed that it wasn’t detangling and providing slip to my toddlers curly hair and so it was a worse hair detangling experience than she’s used to. Then it started to suds up like crazy like I was shampooing her hair. I ended up having to rinse her hair in the sink to get it out because all of the bubbles and suds weren’t going away they were multiplying. Some dried on my hand and felt sticky. Do not recommend for curly haired kids.

Not as expected
First time buying. We usually like the honest brand detangler for its effectiveness and clean ingredients however it is pricey for a small amount. Thought we would give the raw sugar one a try but it didn’t work at all as expected. For saying coconut milk and banana I was expecting something light and nice but it just smelled like a strong perfume. Also the product just didn’t work at all. Stayed tangled then got thick white residue and sticky. Will be returning.

This is our go to for my daughter’s tangles, she has fine smooth hair that tangles easily. We have been using this on her since she was 1 and it’s always been gently enough with its clean ingredients. Love that it has castor seed oil in it. The smell is AMAZING too! Such summer beach vibes. It has never made our hair oily or greasy.

Chemical smell
Has a chemical smell. Last time I purchased, it did smell like banana-coconut which we liked, so I was expecting the same again this time and was very disappointed. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I’m not sure I’d try it again.

Too heavy and soapy!
