VetriScience Hairball Control Chews for Cats, Chicken Flavor, 60 Count Bag

Waste of money for me. My cat just walks away.

My cats, a Burmese female who is not food motivated and a Tonkinese male who is a little food motivated—are absolutely nuts about these treats. We've gone through one bag, and their coats are already showing improvement. I usually get a nice helping of undercoat when I scratch the Tonk—now, nothing. They wait on the bed in the morning to get their treats—they learned this in less than a week. I am thrilled with this product! Thank you, VetriScience Team!

My cats won't eat them.

When and if Troy escapes into our coyote-riddled back yard, the only way I can get him "in" is if I rattle the bag, lol. He comes to me, I dispense a "treat," and whip him back into the House!!! Also loves it on his wet food. He does not care much for wet food… tasty stuff.

I am an employee of FoodScience, parent company of VetriScience. My sister's cat has very long hair and is constantly hacking up hairballs. Figured it couldn't hurt to try this product out with her and see if it helped. In a short time, my sister relayed that she could really see a difference. Best of all her cat really seems to like the taste. She sees them as a treat!

My cats would not touch these. In my opinion, they are too big as well. Wish I would have took the advice of other reviewers.

Works every time!

Only 1 cat out of 7 will eat this, and she eats anything Also the treats are too big for cats. And I have large cats. I have to break them up.

I use these as kitty treats because of the way my cats adore them, all three of them. I do think it helps with the hairballs and it contains a lot of good vitamins that have improved skin and coat conditions for the older cats.

Cat LOVES these, we'll see hopefully that this product will help.

Since taking these there are fewer hair balls and eat more.

She normally has more hairballs than they ever do and I feel terrible when she starts to cough. I have tried many products in the past, dry food, paste and treats that were supposed to help reduce the amount of hairballs. The food didn't seem to make any changes and she didn't lick the pastes. These treats are a little harder than others I have tried and I had to break them into smaller pieces and She eats them with no problems. I have absolutely seen a decrease in the amount of hairballs she has had and I can't be happier. I did receive this as a free sample and I am so glad I did. I have already placed this on auto ship so I will never be without it.

As a pet owner with two cats, I was excited to try VetriScience Laboratories Hairball Support for Cats (60 ct chews). Hairballs are a common occurrence in our house so supplying my cats with a treat that is also good for them was almost a "no brainer." Compared to other treats, my cats loved these little fish-shapes, which were soft and chewy. While my cats did enjoy them, I can't say definitively that they reduced the amount of hairballs, at least not yet. I will have to continue to use the product a little longer. While I wasn't aware of this product before, I would buy Hairball Support for Cats (60 ct chews) and I would recommend them based on their nutritional value and the fact that they support healthy skin and the GI tract.

It reduced hairballs to one a week for my maine coon...which is very imoressive because she was providing about 3 a day and staining all of my carpets. My Ocicat, who is a very respectful and disciplined animal, unfortunately thought they were meant for me. She refuses to eat people food because she says it is rude. I would place money it would work on her too. I have never tried any other products like this before and plan to continue to use it to save my carpet scrubber for my dog throwing up the "cat snacks" (doo doo) he found in the litter box. If you have a cat that has hairball issues, save a vet trip and try these. If you have a dog that robs the kitty bank and stains your $300 target rug, I have empathy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hoping that these would be an alternative to the expensive and difficult to find hairball formula food that had been working for him. Right off the bat he would eat around them or drop them outside of his bowl. I thought maybe they were too large so I broke them into smaller pieces and he did the same thing. I can't really comment on whether or not they work because we never got to the point to judge. I use another Vetriscience product for my anxious dog so I had hoped these would work for my cat. I would recommend trying them to see if they work for your cat.

I have 2 cats with medium length, thick hair and a dog that likes to eat andthing she finds on the floor (eek). So, of course, I'd like to keep the hair balls to a minimum. They had no problems eating the "treats": they even seemed to enjoy them. And I did notice a decrease in hair balls after about a week on the product. I hadn't tried haivall remedies in the past because I was skeptical, but I'm sold! I'll be buying this again and again. I found that they did dry out easily, so I started keeping the bag inside a ziplock to preserve freshness batter.

After using VetriScience hairball is treats I've seen a dramatic difference in my cat. He no longer gags and throws up and seems all around better. I give them to all my cats and they all love them. I highly recommend them.
