This stuff is amazing!!! The oil, I spill, but love. The gel works well with my skin. It’s so soft, dewy, and glowing. A little goes a long way. There was an instant difference in my skin. The only plus for using this on my hands I found was that it was lightweight. It smells like commercial hand soap used in hospitals, clinics and the like. With the first ingredient being mineral oil I was not surprised that my hands were shiny. But I had hoped it was formulated to absorb. After twenty minutes with good warm airflow to my hands, it still hadn’t absorbed. I had to wash my hands twice to get it off. Now, after my hands dried, my hands are quite soft. Good for non essential body parts during the day. For hands, would save for bedtime unless it’s short contact therapy. I honestly can’t tell you if this would work for winter dry hands but I’ll stick to fragrance free creams that absorb.

Winter here and my legs (age) and hands were extremely dry. I use this after I get out of the shower and rub it in well on feet, legs and arms. Just from doing this my fingers - thumbs especially were extremely dry o where I wished I could use a pumic stone on them like you do your heels...after a few days of using after my shower my skin on my hands were back to normal. It really is a wonderful product and I have tried a LOT of products

This is Vaseline, not gel.
Feels more like Vaseline than gel. You have to thoroughly rub it for proper application. Not something that you can apply on the go. Leaves an ugly shine on the skin. If you’re looking for a non-comedogenic lotion, go for Nuetrogena or CeraVe.
