I am familiar with this brand and love their products. This is a whole milk, it is a full volume milk and it tastes great with cookies 🍪 and different types of cereals. My children love to have a cup of Alta Dena milk 🥛 with cookies for a treat. The day I purchased the full gallon of milk, I froze some whole bananas 🍌 and made banana 🍌 milk 🥛 shakes for entire family. The milk 🥛 tasted so great with mixed bananas 🍌 and it was such a treat for everyone. The milk has great nutritional value such as vitamin D that is beneficial for bone health. The milk 🥛 tasted really fresh and for a gallon of Alta Dena milk, it costed few pennies short than five dollars. I find this to be a bargain price for a gallon of fresh milk, and it’s very economical for a family of four! This particular milk 🥛 works great in baking as well. I highly recommend this brand of milk, if you are lactose tolerant as well as you like whole milk. A+

But unfortunately, it doesn’t easily fit a jug of milk in it! I love milk, and even as one person, I tend to go through it pretty quickly. It’s a good course of protein and it’s the most hydrating beverage. It’s even better than most electrolytes packets. So when I buy milk, I tend to buy name brand, partly because i find it doesn’t go bad as quickly (important for me if I’m going to commit to a full gallon, as a one-person household), and partly because I love buying local and making sure my money stays in California, supporting smaller California dairy farms. I trust Californian farmers to have more humane and environmentally responsible practices, and it’s important to me to keep money in our local economies; because the food close to home may be the most important of all in the future! That’s why I’ll always pick Alta Dena over store brands, if I have the option, even if it’s a buck more expensive sometimes.
