  • The children try to pick the fruit from the trees before the raven can steal them. If the players succeed in gathering all the fruit before the raven jigsaw in the middle is finished, they all win the game!
  • If the raven jigsaw is complete before all the fruit has been picked, the children lose together to the quick raven. A simple beginner game for 1 - 8 players ages 3 to 6.
  • Contents: 10 apples, 10 pears, 10 pairs of cherries, 10 plums, 4 baskets, 1 raven jigsaw (9 pieces), 1 color die with symbols, 1 game board.

Description

**The Orchard Game from HABA is celebrating 30 years in 2016 and has sold over 3 million copies worldwide!** Red cherries, yellow pears, blue plums and green apples hang from the trees in the orchard. The bold raven wants the delicious fruit too. The players must harvest the fruit quickly before the raven can grab it. This is a simple beginning game for children. Each player rolls the die to see which fruit they may harvest with the baskets. Watch out! If the raven is rolled, one more piece of the raven puzzle is built in the center! A great family cooperative game as everyone works together to collect the fruit before the raven puzzle is complete!

fun and engaging family game

Great game for young kids. Easy to play and fun for the whole family. Some improvements needed for the playing board and pieces. Cute wicker baskets are bit flimsy. Overall, worth the money. Highly recommend.

Great board game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s easy to play. My almost almost 4 years old can play with little assistance and likes it enough to repeat it at least 3 times every time we sit down to enjoy the game. I’m already looking for more games to buy soon.

Fun and Fast Game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We play this with my game-loving three-year-old. It’s easy for him to follow the rules and he thinks it’s really fun. Only takes about 10 minutes to play one game. As adults, it’s one of our preferred games to play with kids. The game is the high quality I expect from Haba. Although, I wonder why the puzzle is cardboard not wood?

Who needs rules?

My 4 year old granddaughter loves this game. Her mother says “She is having fun with that game—though she doesn’t exactly play by the rules yet!”

Small pieces

We have a 4 year old grandson. The pieces are so small that we have to be extremely careful and watchful that he doesn't put one in his mouth. We also play with fewer numbers of fruit so the game goes faster. Other than that it is a good game with a few easy rules.

Great cooperative game

My almost 4 year old loves this. Her preschool teacher plays it with a group of three 4 year-olds and it a great cooperative teamwork game. Great quality too.
