Not right for my hair type
Unfortunately this did not work for me. I tried it several times times and it has no slip so i can't get a comb thru it when applied. It also did not moisturize my hair at all, my hair felt dry and brittle after it air dried.

I didn't use this before the formula change, and it sounds like this used to be a great product but not anymore. I want to throw it away it's so bad. It doesn't moisturize at all it actually feels like it dries your hair out if anything. Strangely it's very lightweight and seems to disappear into the hair and you can keep piling it on and it's like nothing is happening. Maybe because alcohols are the main ingredients. Just crap, it's going in the bin.

A holy grail must have
Okay where do I start ? First off I rarely write reviews but …This is my holy grail product I have 3c-4a hair and NOTHING detangles my hair quicker than this! There will be times I’m frustrated and can’t get the brush brush through and I’ll leave this on for a few minutes on wet hair and I’ll literally be able to finger Detangle with in minutes! The entire matcha line has done wonders for my dentangling routine! I was so scared when I couldn’t find it in stores because it’s literally a staple for me and I finally found it available for online order after not having it for months! Hopefully the formula is the same!

Buttery but not heavy
I’m really impressed by how smooth and buttery this mask is without silicones. I have the thirstiest hair known to man so I tend to use hair masks as regular conditioners, but I avoid silicones because it weighs my curls down. This mask is rich and hydrating but rinses cleanly without residue. My curls look hydrated and SHINY which they almost never do because my hair is so dry. I will definitely use it as one of my regular conditioners. Not sure how well this works for damaged hair as claimed since my hair isn’t damaged, but damaged hair does tend to be dry and it certainly helps with that.
