    The Controller That Somehow Survives Teen Rage

    If you have a PlayStation 5, you already know the DualSense controller is excellent. The real question is whether it can survive months of intense gaming, accidental drops, panic button mashing, and the emotional rollercoaster of online sports games played by a teenager. So far? This one has held up great. I bought the Blue version for my son mostly because the color looks awesome in person. It’s bright without looking cheap, and it stands out immediately from the standard white controller pile taking over our house. The controller itself feels solid and comfortable for long gaming sessions. The triggers and vibration still feel impressive even 6 months into the lifecycle, and battery life has been perfectly fine for us. Buttons still feel tight, sticks haven’t drifted, and nothing feels loose or worn out after pretty heavy use. As a parent, I also appreciate that the textured grip helps when hands are sweaty during intense gaming moments… or after yelling at NBA 2K. The USB-C charging is convenient, setup is instant, and honestly this just feels like one of those products where Sony got it right the first time. If your kid wants a “cool color” controller, this one actually looks great and still performs exactly like you’d expect from an official PlayStation controller.

    I know for me and others my hands can get sweaty when playing. If so this controller will slip out your hand. It honestly feels cheaper than the stock ones, there’s no texture so all together it’s a disaster. By all means go ahead and get it for yourself but I did warn you, I would return it myself but I got rid of the box not realizing.

    Make sure to open the box in store in front of an employee

    Target scammed me. When i opened the sealed box, the controller inside was dirty, covered in gunk, and didn’t even connect to my PS5. When i tried to return it, they accused me of replacing the new controller with a used one and refused the return. Target sucks.

    I'm very disappointed with my PS5 controller. The controller doesn't react instantly when I press the buttons; there's a noticeable delay that completely ruins the gaming experience.
