I normally have trouble putting things together but the instructions and pictures made assembly very easy. The only thing I needed help with was putting the back on square before nailing it on. I did need an extra pair of hands for that. It is a very nice looking bookcase.

Use is for books, binders, etc. Good looking product, matches my other office furniture well and at a fair price. I would recommend a fairly stronger back as books pushed up against it will eventually weaken the back and it could detach from the sides.

This was so easy to put together. The instructions were very clear and I did it on my own with a hammer and screw driver. It took me less than half an hour. It looks beautiful and was more than I expected.

I bought this product because I ran out of shelving for my books and things. The color matches my floor beautifully and it was fairly easy to put together. The instructions that came with it were easy to follow. The only thing that made it hard was my physical limitations.

Have purchased the Sauder brand in the past. Thought it would still be good quality. Was very disappointed. It was easy enough to put together. Then I realized that what I thought were minor scuff marks were actually tears in the wood patterned paper that the bookshelf is wrapped in. Both of the side panels have a kind of finishing lip. Both of them were torn and or not glued completely so that there was about 10 inches on both sides that were just loose and movable. Very disappointed in the lack of quality.

I love Sauder products. This is the 3rd bookcase I have purchased. Just like the previous two, instructions were great and it was very easy to assemble and so beautiful when completed. My newest is a 3-shelf, which I will use in my family room along with my current 2-shelf. I also have a 3-shelf in my home office. All three are Select Cherry, which is a very deep rich color. I have received several complements from family and friends. I also refer them to Sauder. You can not go wrong with such a wonderful product.
