Q: Why do you use guar gum and Tara gum which was illegal in the United States?

  • A: Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. Since 2016, we have been using egg yolks and natural plant-based gums (tara gum and guar gum as you said) to stabilize our ice cream base.

  • A: Guar gum and Tara gum are NOT illegal food additives in the U.S. However Tara flour is an illegal food additive, and NOT in Tillamook ice cream AFAIK.

Q: Is the container supposed to come sealed or with a plastic ring/wrapper around the lid?? Or is it just open (like how I received it)?

    Sooo tasty !!

    As a vanilla lover, I absolutely adore this brand and all of their flavors, but especially vanilla! It’s so creamy and the vanilla flavor is definitely there as opposed to some other brands. Knowing they’re a more natural icecream as well makes me feel so much better about how much of it I eat! Haha

    Perfect for sundaes

    Classic vanilla flavor and aroma. Scoops up nice and smooth and doesn’t instantly melt all over the place. The top is securely sealed but opens easily once cut.

    Best vanilla out there!

    Tillamook is hands down the best ice cream. It’s so creamy and delicious. Every flavor is great but you really can’t go wrong with vanilla. This even has real vanilla bean specks in it.
