A: I will post the answer to my question here; I contacted customer service at Tillamook myself. 1. I told the new language is "bio engineered "ingredients .There are none in this. 2. Yes, safety seal.

Tillamook always has good quality ice cream, not full of added ingredients, does have guar gum but no carrageenan. Vanilla bean flavor is fresh and spot on, very thick ice cream, but not sticky.

This is my absolute favorite ice cream. All the flavors we’ve tried so far have been excellent. It seems to be a thicker, more creamy ice cream than most of its competition. I just wish that these would stay in stock a bit better.

Creamy? I Say Gummy and Aerated
This ice cream is heavy on the tara and guar gum; plus it's over aerated. I find the mouthfeel gummy and unpleasant. The strongest impression was of ice cream made from cool whip. It's promoted as "really creamy" - it doesn't completely harden in the freezer. That may be the appeal for some people. But this ice cream is particularly off putting when it melts - it doesn't really become liquid, it's more like a soft, rubbery, foamy mass. This is not a premium product so the extra cost is unjustified. I would strongly suggest choosing another product.
