The Athens Raised Relief Globe is a classic 12-inch diameter antique color decorative desk globe with all of the features. This well-designed globe with a raised relief surface features a political map that contains 1,000’s of up to date place names and locations.

The stand is a stained hardwood lens base with a metal numbered semi-meridian. As with most illuminated globes, the cord exits from the south pole meridian connection and outfitted with an inline switch for smooth operation.

The raised relief feature on the Athens Raised Relief Globe is small rises in the surface of the globe, indicating mountain ranges. There are very few illuminated globes that feature this design, and this is one of them.
