5 star book but......
The book itself is a 5 star read but someone cut the tip of the book. It appears to be a new book but clearly something is wrong with the book. I'm certain I could replace it and Target would give me a new one. But I can live with it. I'm just leaving a review because this is my 2nd order of books that have come with minor issues. And I know some people are very particular about the condition of their books. Especially if it is suppose to be new.

Five stars!
Once I started this book up I could not put it down! Absolute page turner with an unexpected plot twist. Different POV’s towards the last few chapters made it so much better. The ending left me speechless. Highly recommend.

Fingers crossed for book 2
TW: Mental Health Disorders (OCD, Insanity), Abuse, R@pe My first read by Shanora Williams and I am floored! Ivy’s story, heartbreak and issues really resonated me in a way that might not be too healthy. That being said, I’m always a fan of books that have an underlying lesson. I am SHOOK by the ending, and hope that means that we will get a second book! I’m rooting for Ivy despite all that has transpired and hope to see more of this story!

Writing style wasn't bad but characters did not have redeeming qualities.
I understand the main characters experienced a lot of trauma and this story was the result of their experiences, but I couldn't get past how every thought and action Ivy had was vengeful and negative. It was a book set in a beautiful place about miserable people doing miserable things. I felt my own mental health deteriorating while reading this book and did not finish it.
