Q: 1 review said that you have to assemble the cushion. Is that true? The padding comes separate from the cover.

A: Thank you for your question. Yes you need to assemble the cushion. To do so, first, stuff the cushion foam into the cushion cover. It may be helpful to fold the cushion in half and hold it tight between your knees to insert it into the cover. You may need another person to assist during this step. Second, pull the cushion cover fabric over the foam and adjust as needed. Once fully inserted place on a flat surface and hold the zipper sides together while zipping the cover while moving in small increments to complete. The cushion foam may need up to 24 hours to expand to the fullest. Readjust the cushion after this time if necessary.

Q: is the for 2 cushions?

A: It is one cushion that's smaller than they say. It's only 2" thick, not 3. The dimensions of the 17x17 is really 17x15.

Q: Why do you advertise this as three inches thick when the package says two? And why do you give the size as 17x 17 when the package says 17x15?

The cushions are okay. My issue with them is that they are a bit too soft. Would have preferred a harder cushion. You tend to sink into theses. Other than that they are fine. Color is as pictured. They fit as replacements for other cushion that had ripped.

YOU HAVE TO ASSEMBLE THIS - 4 years ago
I bought and returned two of these. In each box I received a duck cover (wrong color) and a roll of batting, which I was suppose to cut to size and fill the cushion. This is a third party seller, so returning the first box to my local Target was time consuming. It took 42 minutes with three very kind people trying to figure out how to return it. When the other box came, one of the people remembered how to return it, so it only took a minute.
