What Kind of Woman: Poems - by Kate Baer (Paperback)

Wow.. within the first few pages of this book, I was captivated. This is my first book of poems and I’m in love. The way Kate Baer writes each poem is something so simple yet so beautiful. Some of the poems really felt like I could relate my personal life to. I loved it and would recommend it to every woman. My only complaint is that I ordered this through drive up and it’s scuffed and has a rough edge. I guess the store can’t control it too much through the shipping process and stocking.

I read it and loved it, and then purchased another for a friend.

Kate Baer beautifully puts into words what so many women have thought and felt and could not articulate. Her poetry provides validation and is so enjoyable to read.

I'm not a poetry person but now I am. Beautiful, smart, funny, and deeply moving. Loved it very much. Buy it for your sister, friend, mother, neighbor, anyone. You won't regret it.

Absolutely beautiful poetry. It resonated with me so much. I have followed Kate Baer for years and was very much looking forward to this. Bonus is the striking cover art - it drew me to the book even more. Definitely recommend.
