PetSafe Stay and Play Adjustable Wireless Fence Rechargeable Receiver Collar - Black: For Pets 5 lbs and Up, Static Shock Training, Weather-Resistant

I bought this et containment system and within 6 months, the collar reciever malfunctioned. The company sent me another, but here we are again, same problem. I don't recommend a battery you can't replace. My brother has the system without rechargeable batteries and its still going strong.

These have always worked great for me, I’ve had these products for 10+ years. Biggest con is the charge port easily gets dirty and the charging capped are flimsy and break when taking in and out of dirty ports. Price is also too expensive for what it is, that’s why only 4-star. It took me a long time to buy two more collars because of the price. I’d love to upgrade to the newer version of this product but it’s way out of my budget.

I have been using this wireless system for years. It keeps my dogs safe and in the property boundaries I've set. Completely adjustable and expandable. The dogs learn very quickly where they can't go and the corrective shock smarts but is not painful.

I have pet safe WiFi fence system. I have had 2 collars . One is falling apart and super glue does not keep it together. NOTE-it is over 6 yo. The other collar was over 6 yo and stopped getting fully charged. I am now buying another collar , and am thrilled w/ the PetSafe products.

We used our Stay and Play collar for our Great Pyrenees, who guards our house and chickens at night. It works beautifully, he stays exactly where he is supposed to! We usually charge it every other weekend and have no problems. We just had to buy our 3rd collar, after 5 years, which isn't bad, considering that they stay outside in all types of weather and get all kinds of abuse. Highly recommend!

Just purchased this collar and cannot find any directions on how to set up this collar with my base. All the instructions on YouTube are not for the rechargeable collar. The manual that is provided also doesn't have instructions it just tells you to come to this website to find nothing to set it up. Please fix this Petsafe. What's the point in providing a manual if it doesn't give you set up instructions?

I've been using Petsafe wireless containment for almost 20 years and HIGHLY recommend them. I've used them on 5 different dogs with the transmitters mounted in stone buildings, metal buildings, traditional wood fram houses, poured cement houses and even campers, and they always work perfectly. I can't understand why anyone would use a buried wire system.

I bought this for our 3yr old German Shepherd. He has serious other dog aggression and people walk their dogs past our place all the time. We usually try to keep him inside if we see them coming. Unfortunately, even this collar, fully charged and on the highest setting is not working for him. We love the pet safe collar, just was looking for something stronger. This is not working! The normal collar works great for our older shepherd though. Just a heads up for other dog owners

Works well keeping dogs yard. Training and leaving flags up helped dogs understand boundaries. Covered 2 acres with extra wire. Had interference with power line but adjusted installaton. Testers helpful during setup. Highly recommend testing before digging trench.

Have had for 18 months stopped working. Its the second one in 3 years. When it works love it. petsafe blamed the first ones failure on me charging for more than 3 hours and not using surge protector. So with the second one followed directions to letter and again died in same time frame. Just outside warranty and they said you will have to replace we will give a 20% coupon but only if you buy directly from petsafe. The lack of dependability is worrisome. No warning prior to its dying.

It works BUT although super easy to teach my dog. First level was way to strong and traumatized her enough to not cross the barrier ever again. We keep it on noise ONLY. Loved the product and recommended it and then the collar started malfunctioning. It beeps anytime anywhere! Imagine if was set on other levels our dog would get zapped for doing nothing wrong and being in the perimeter. Truer reaching out MULTIPLE times and have had no service/help. It beeps while sitting on the same spot INSIDE the house. Thought it was great NOT IMPRESSED!

Love it, no more going out to hunt for batteries when your busy and forget to stock up.

My dogs learned their boundaries easily. The system is very reliable. It’s easy to tell when the collars need to be charged. So easy, so convenient, such peace of mind knowing my furry family stays home and has plenty of room to play.

It has definitely saved us many times. Easy setup being wireless. It is occasionally inconsistent, but I think that is because we are surrounded by large trees. We've used it for years with our German Shepherd and recently with a second German Shepherd puppy. A note of caution. When we were training our new puppy, the beeping sound greatly disturbed our older dog, as it confused him because he thought he was being corrected when it wasn't him. Now that the puppy doesn't test the boundary, all is well with both dogs.

I bought this system 6 years ago for our rescued Spaniel-Retriever mix. It was very easy to read the instructions and train our sweet little mutt. After about 3 years, it seemed to have stopped working. I decided to call the PetSafe company customer service and was quickly put through to the tech department. They walked me through some simple trials and found that the system needed a reset. They had me do a couple of steps to reset the system and it worked perfectly! I was so impressed with how friendly and concerned the company tech was about fixing the problem, that it reassured me how glad I was to have made this purchase and used this company. Now, another 3 years later, I noticed that our rechargeable collar is not keeping a charge. Well, like anything rechargeable, you need to replace it after so long. I am purchasing a new collar receiver today and I will update you on the ease of setup. As you notice in the photos, I probably need a new collar anyway. This one has held up after 6 years of using it every day on a very happy and active dog. He gets so excited when he sees his collar in our hands that he jumps up on top of his doghouse and sits patiently awaiting his collar to be put on. I highly recommend this product and I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed. If you have any issues, I recommend calling the company first before you write a bad review. They are truly eager to resolve any issue you have.

My dogs have used these collars for quite some time and we have enjoyed them. However we have had to replace them 3 times because they will randomly stop working even though they are charged or the battery has been changed. The band for the collar also has broken several times i find these collars no longer worth the money especially when they barley work half the time. my dogs have escaped multiple times because of how poor this product is.

Lasts for several weeks without needing a charge. Highly recommend

This collar works well with our older Instant Fence unit. We purchased it for our small (9lb) 9 month old pup. It fits her well, and is not to big for her. There is plenty of adjustment in the collar for different sized dogs. The battery life is excellent and she has responded well to wearing it in our yard. I only wish that it had an additional mode for a vibration alert as well as sound. It would also be nice to have a louder sound for us people. When training a small dog I had to bend over to try and hear the alert as we approached the boundary. But in the end, as long as the dog hears the sound, that's all that matters. Great way to keep your pet safe in your yard. When I called pet safe for information, the customer service rep. was very helpful in choosing the right collar for our needs. That helped a lot.

We’ve had the Petsafe wireless fencing for many many years. Currently we have the Stay and Play system and it has worked great for our Mastiff and Rottweiler. Training them was so easy and they have never challenged the boundaries. Exactly what we need here in the sticks.

I ordered a second collar for my daughter’s dog for when she is visiting. It works well with the system we have in our home . It’s a relief not to have to worry about her running into the woods and chase the deer!
