Origins Clear Improvement Mask - Ulta Beauty

Been using this for 30 years. Suddenly the large size for $20 is somehow a tiny travel size for $20 at Target. Nope. Would recommend, but NOT buying from Target!

Ive used this mask off and on but only recently started using it consistently 1-2 times a week. It really evens my skin tone and makes it look so clean afterwards. I feel bad for the people that its make their skin turn pink or red. I use the checks and balances cleanser and then the mask. I make sure to wash off any make up first so there are no weird chemical reactions on my skin. Im able to let the mask sit and dry on my skin while I read a chapter or 2 of my book and then I wash it off and use the mega mushroom moisturizer! So fresh and so clean!

I have used this wonderful mask for at least 30 years with excellent results. I just bought this one at local store. Not sure if I got a tampered product or they changed the formula - it is no longer charcoal gray - its a clear goo. Nothing on label says its new or changed. When I washed it off, the water was sudsy. Don't know what to think of the situation but it is going back. Why do companies feel the need to change the formulas of their proven winners? And how are you to tell if the mask is dried since its clear?

I was excited to try this but within 2 minutes of having the mask on my face, my skin started burning. I kept it on a few more minutes thinking it was probably just drying on my skin, but I was wrong. When I washed it off my face was red with even redder dots all over. I have sensitive skin, but have never had issues with the brand in the past. Time to look for another…

It's been a while since I bought any face mask. This one feels nice and and doesn't leave a burning sensation.

I am in my mid twenties and have struggled with acne for about 15 years or so. Additionally, I have large pores, uneveness, redness, oily, sensitive skin, just about everything you can put into a skin type. I've tried every solution under the sun, serums, creams, spot treatments, you name it, and NOTHING has cleared my skin more than this product. I bought it as a fun Valentine's spa date night idea and it's genuinely become a holy grail staple in my skincare routine (which is not extensive btw, I use the mask 1-2 times/week and pair with my go to moisturizer. simple but effective!) I leave the mask on for 15-20 min and gently wipe off with a slightly damp washcloth and immediately can tell the difference. My skin glows, my pores feel tight and clean. The following morning I'll notice my breakouts healing. It's even helped with toning down redness and existing acne scars. I can't say enough good things about this product - I've been really insecure about my skin for quite some time, especially as a lady in her mid twenties still struggling with acne. In just 2 weeks, this product has made a noticeable difference on my skin and my confidence is through the roof. Highly, highly recommend. If you are struggling with the price, know that a little goes a long way, and once a week is still enough for a noticeable difference!

I'm 43 with an oily T zone and large pores on my nose. Hereditary, sadly. I've been embarassed by my large pores for decades. My kiddo is 16 typical combo teen skin. Breakouts but nothing cystic. Shes good about being consistent with skin care. I didnt expect to love this mask as much as i do. It's much less messy than other clay masks and dries faster. My pores are visibly clearer and smaller snd my skin smoother after use every single time. My kiddo uses it and it smooths her texture and helps draw the ick out for her as well. The only drawback is price but i find tubes on sale here and there and it's so worth it. I use 2-3 times a week. She only needs it once a week. We love this mask!!

This product is amazing. Saw results in two uses. Skin feels tighter. Pores reduced in appearance. I'm going to use once a week. Hooked for sure. Doesn't take much product either to apply.

My skin feels calm, balanced, and refreshed after use. No irritation. Easy to apply and remove.

I like it, it cleans my skin well. Overall a good product. I do dislike how messy it is when washing off and sometimes even have trouble getting it all off my face. Takes longer than id like.

Way too small for the price. Will not repurchase or recommend

I feel the negative reviews may be because people see any type of facial mask and assume a particular result automatically (this is what its for, what's expected)…whatever it is. I'm not sure. I believe this particular mask could be used to improve acne/ clean skin. I read the treatment is: Reduces Large Pores.🤷🏼‍♀️ANY-way.🤦🏼‍♀️ That's exactly what this mask did for me. I'am happy w: the product. My pores were reduced &&are disappearing I've used twice so far and seems fair to mention it is making a pretty noticeable difference. I do believe there's a possibility this product is NOT for all skin types. I have medium skin tone, I'm not prone to reactions and/ or sensitivity. I did notice in certain areas the product caused a burning sensation. I just assumed it was doing its thing; the burning subsided within minutes; and, did not leave an appearance of irritation or a burn behind. I did only apply a small amount to test my first time followed by only applying the product in areas my pores were enlarged (mainly on my cheeks, on my face.)

I dont even have sensitive skin and this product severely burned my face. I have a dark red outline where i applied the product and it feels like i have sunburn even after the mask was off. Ive never in my life had a reaction to a product like this

I use this maybe once every two weeks just to detox my skin from everything it's been exposed to and it always feels so refreshing.

The product did apply easily and it was tingly with a little burning sensation at first but once it started drying it burned so much. I rinsed it off and my whole face was bright pink red. I rinsed again and and the burning feeling is less but my face is still really red.

This makes me break out terribly every time I use it. It's a no from me.

I use this as a spot treatment and as a mask. You get almost immediate results. I would definitley be prepared to moistrize after because it is a little drying but it does the job. Clears my breakouts overnight!

This always helps clear my pores out but I get those white heads that you can see under the surface of your skin (not the kind you can pop or pop themselves) and are hard to get rid of and I was hoping this would help but it didnt. It does however help with oil and blackheads so I DONT have to pop any blackheads. It doesnt dry me out or cause redness from harsh ingredients.
