Kick off your day with a breakfast favorite when you cook up this 16-Ounce Hardwood Smoked Thick Cut Bacon from market pantry™. This perfectly cured and hand-selected bacon is naturally hardwood smoked for a rich, smoky flavor, and each slice is thick cut, making it perfect for burgers, BLTs, breakfast and more. It’s gluten-free and has no added MSG so you can be confident you’ll enjoy pure flavor. Whether you’re frying it alongside a couple eggs or putting some on a cheeseburger, this hardwood smoked bacon is sure to be a classic staple in your kitchen.
Directions
Bacon needs to be fully cooked.
Skillet
Place bacon slices in single layer in unheated skillet. Cook over LOW to MEDIUM heat, turning occasionally, until brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
Microwave
Directions were developed for 1000 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave ovens below 1000 watts will require additional time to reach proper temperature.
Place bacon slices between paper towels on paper plate or microwave-safe dish. Cook on HIGH:
2 slices for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes; 4 slices for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, until brown and crisp.
Oven
Place bacon in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake at 400°F for 10 to 15 minutes until brown and crisp. No turning is necessary. Drain on paper towels.
For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 165°F as measured with a food thermometer. Appliances may vary; adjust cooking time accordingly. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.

The label may say "Thick cut" but this is definitely not thick cut. Instead, it is long lanky pieces the same cut as every normal bacon. This is very surprising as Target's other brand, Good and Gather, has a amazing Thick Cut Bacon and I would highly recommend that over this "Normal Bacon"

This has literally been our favorite bacon for years 5+ stars. Recently there was a package change and I believe a vendor change. This bacon has become sub-par. Full of fat, very salty, doesn’t cook flat anymore, shrinks and curls up. It’s literally inedible. Now on to a search for a new favorite. So disappointing. Why Target? Don’t mess with our bacon. I would have gladly paid a little more money for the better bacon!
