Designed to work with the Tidy Cats Breeze litter system (sold separately), this pellet litter is made of Zeolite from a proprietary formula with excellent dehydrating properties. The Zeolite pellets allow urine to pass through to be absorbed by the Breeze Ion pad, leaving solid waste on top. The non clumping cat litter pellets dehydrate solid waste for better odor control and are 99.9 percent dust free for a clean and tidy litter box area. Q: This litter is made of Zeolite which appears to have several risks. Plz advise. There is no cure for kidney disease. Per Wikipedia: Animal studies suggest potential harm to the kidneys + may cause digestive distress, dehydration,muscle pain.

A: No one says what Zeolite is made of. I think the urine would be absorbed just as easy with these lg natural corn husk pellets? w/ rest of litter box using a smaller absorbant type of litter.

submitted byBrbK - 1 year agoA: Thanks for your question. Cats prefer a clean area to do their business. If you’re using clumping litter, we recommend scooping and tossing clumps every day. Every week or so, dump out the entire box and wash with warm, soapy water. When you refill, be sure to use at least 2-3 inches of non-clumping cat litter or 3-4 inches of clumping litter to allow your cat plenty of room to dig and bury. Also, Tidy Cats Litter is not flushable. Even if a litter is labeled flushable, it can cause plumbing problems. Bag your old litter and toss it in the trash, not in the toilet. Best Cat Litter System Ever!
This is the best litter system I have ever had! I have been using this system for 3 years now and I will never go back to other cat litters. I have 5 cats and the 2 XL cat pans. My cats are fine using it and haven't had any issues.

Great idea, needs tweeking, pellets hurt paws
I used this system for a long while. Loved it so much I invested in the jumbo boxes because frankly the regular size is way too small (company should know this……). My cats initially took to it, but eventually one of my cats started going outside the litter… (for those wondering, I checked with the vet, the issue is really the pellets, not health). I LOVED this system and was willing to buy the pellets and pads even though they’re honestly super expensive (company should really do something about that, I’m sure they’d have more customers if they were more reasonable with this) because it worked so well for the smell. However my cats always looks uncomfortable and tried their best to not step on any pellets when going in the litter. I truly believe their pellet’s shape needs to be revised. Cylindrical pellets are clearly visibly uncomfortable/painful. Purina needs to come up with spherical pellets. Not too big either, to render them as comfortable as possible. I don’t really care that a few pellets might track out of the litter. These cylindrical pellets do track a little aswell anyway (much better than conventional litter though because of their weight). The fact they’re heavier prevents them from getting EVERYWHERE and a little more tracking for happier kitties that accept to use the system would be the best. Unfortunately I have to stick to regular litter until they decide to fix this issue, because I simply can’t have my cat peeing out of the litter. Defeats the purpose of this system completely.

It is quite expensive though so I'm not sure I could purchase as often as my cats would like. They loved using it and it does absorb great so it isn't hard to clean the litter box.

I don't dread having to scoop the litter anymore. The unscented pellets work great at combating odor. I will continue to purchase and use it.

Great Product

My cat is messy and can end up eating litter everywhere in and outside of her litter box, and this makes it so she is not able to make as much of a mess. Not For My Kitty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted these Tidy Cats Breeze Cat Litter Pellets Refill in exchange for my honest review. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan. I will admit originally I thought the idea of pellets for the litterbox as opposed to typical cat litter seemed interesting, but I don't think it quite panned out for my kitty and I like we had hoped. I love that it claims to be basically dust free, because it truly is. I hear much less sneezing from my kitty when he's in his box. I wish the fragrance of the scented pellets was a bit stronger, it was pretty weak. I also wish the pellets soaked the urine up more effectively and a bit faster. It seems to pass through the pellets and sit on the bottom of the box and my cat tends to do his business where he urinates, covers it, gets out the litter box, does a quick lap around the house, and within about 3 minutes, he's back to poop. I notice it confuses him that the urine is still there when he comes back. I just don't think this is the right litter product for us, unfortunately, but very thankful to try!
