    Changed Formula,,,

    I have bought 3 bottles of this shampoo over the past few years. They changed something in this last bottle I ordered. I used to get all kinds of foam/suds using very little shampoo and the mint scent was really refreshing...now there is NO foam/suds...and you cannot smell the mint at all!! Very disappointed...they changed something that worked!! Will not purchase this again!!

    Unnaturally Clean

    This shampoo does get your hair squeaky clean, and I'm happy with it's effectiveness but I am concerned about some of the ingredients. It was my fault for not looking over everything.

    Shampoo

    For those who watch their ingredients this is a good product. My husband uses this and it works really well for me after I dye my hair to put some moisture back in my hair without being too heavy.

    Cleansing but very citrus-y

    I was looking for a product to replace the Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat. A great shampoo, but expensive. We loved the tingly feel of that shampoo. This Avalon product cleans well. Although I find I need to shampoo more often than with my previous shampoo. To its credit though,even with shampooing more frequently (every other day or so)the Avalon shampoo does not dry out my hair. Once I ran out of body wash, and used the shampoo temporarily. It actually did just fine! What I don't like about this shampoo is that it reminds me of a cleaning product-specifically--lemon Pledge! It has a very strong lemony smell--not surprising since the ingredient list includes lemon, lime and bergamot oils. I was hoping for more of a tea tree and Mint smell (as the name implies). The citrus smell really overpowers anything else. I also miss the tingly feeling. It has some tingle, but I would like more! I was hoping to get over the lemon smell, but I can't. I won't be purchasing it again.

    One of my favorite shampoos

    This shampoo is wonderful. It doesn't strip my hair of all its natural moisture, but it does clean very well. Scent is great, and I appreciate that it doesn't have the "conventional" shampoo ingredients. I like my hair to have lots of body and bounce, and this shampoo helps to achieve that, without drying it out!
