Q: Does this require WiFi at all (even for setup)? My apartment has a weird WiFi system that won't let me connect any speakers to it, so I need this to be fully functional via only Bluetooth.

Doesn't live up to Logitech's legacy
Speakers don't play nice over USB (cable not included; I've tried multiple), and frequently play all static. They're fine over wired or bluetooth, but just fine.

Ended up returning them for different Logi speakers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight plastic, feels cheap. The Bluetooth volume controller has a long latency between inputs and volume effect. The sound was muddy. Lacked brilliant highs, had muddy lows. I returned these and ordered the wired set of speakers without Bluetooth. Very happy with other Logi speakers.

Solid performance at a reasonable price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm happy with my purchase of the Logitech wireless speakers with subwoofer. My only issue was with the set up via Bluetooth. Initially I could not get my desktop to find the new device. I finally figured out that it was due to some Windows 10 software updates that had not been activated. Once I ran those updates, no issue.

huge upgrade to our movie and gaming experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Part of me regrets getting these for my partner because i'm constantly wondering what the loud booms are in the house and then I remind myself that these speakers will have you feeling like you're in the movie or game you're watching. The bass is powerful and the speakers are amazing quality. It has totally changed our movie night experience. The control is awesome as we don't need to get out of bed anymore to change the volume and bass and I love that it can connect to multiple devices.

No longer works after a year and a couple months
Pretty much stopped working after a year (got January 2023 and here now it’s April 2024) and well … unfortunately there has been some recent power outages within 1-2 weeks time. When I tried gaming.. no sound and I have unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in. Also have tried the reset procedure. Nothing.

I bought these speakers to add some better sound to my desktop PC. I was using a BOSE mini and I thought is was fine. I had no idea that I was about to experience unparalleled sound. Don't think twice about buying the Z407.

Holy Bass...
Great full bass sound for such a small and affordable system. Very boomy and dimensional w/o the hard hit from the woofer. The extra bass is pretty crazy, in a good way! I purchased it solely for music so idk how it computer or tv audio will sound coming out of it. I just hope it lasts forever!
