    Best pants

    Can't say enough good things about the Starfish brand pants and shorts. I started buying about 3 years ago. First in shorts - the longer knee length and love them. Then they came out with the longer length. I have several pairs in different colors in both the straight leg and wide leg. They are great for everyday wear with sneakers & a Tee and when adding a nice top and shoes for going out to a nice restaurant. They are really nice for travel. Hold up well under packing.

    Petite waistband fit is too deep

    Although I am only 5ft and so ordered the petite fit the waistband is much too deep and not in proportion for a small frame

    Awful waistband

    The waist band is stiff like cardboard and gapes out all the way around, but especially the back- it looks comical. I'm an hourglass figure and I couldn't believe more people haven't encountered this issue.

    I purchased these pants within the past two weeks and they were not sized according to reviews. They are huge. No paper work to return them , so I guess I’m stuck with pants that are no good to me. Believe me… this is definitely not the Lands End company of the past. Run don’t walk away from this company.

    Very short and wide

    I ordered a medium regular in this style and the fit was short and wide. I don’t think that I have ever seen a real person who was this short and wide. I have ordered this style for years without a problem so I’m looking at this as a fluke. Very disappointed though.

    Practical and comfortable trousers

    Very comfortable stretch jersey trousers, which are ideal for walks and being around the house. The product was true to size - I purchased 14/16. As I have slim legs, I found that the straight leg design was more like a wide leg in terms of the line created. I'd like them a little straighter and slimmer, but overall very pleased.

    Perfect fit.

    Quite happy with these trousers and perfect length. However with the printing on the inside on both the front and back I wasn't sure which was the actual front of the trousers.

    Useful trousers

    Love these trousers. Have bought several pairs over the years. Once they look worn they are handy to wear around the house but smart enough to go out in before that.

    Missing zippered pocket

    I've purchased these Starfish for years & LOVE THEM. I just ordered in July '25 & the small zippered pocket has been removed. Why??? Land's end please add the pocket back! (I know, let this be the worst thing that happens to me😁).

    Very disappointed

    Have 2 pairs of starfish pants and love the fit. Ordered another color and also the crops. The new pants came w/o the waist pocket (which perfectly fit my insulin pump) and also 2 " smaller in the waist. Quit changing a good product!

    No pockets

    Warning: these pants do not have pockets! I probably should have paid closer attention, but I do not understand why any company would make professional looking pants without pockets. I should not have to analyze tiny pictures to make sure that pants have something as basic as a pocket. Women deserve better.
