    I have been purchasing these shorts for years and having them altered reducing the 9” shorts to 8”. My problem now is that the alterations costs almost as much as the shorts. I noticed you have the unpleated shorts in 8” is it possible to buy pleated in 8”?

    Not As Expandable As I Had Hoped

    I bought four pair in various colors. It’s hard to find pleated shorts. I’m elderly and no longer have a young man’s physique. An expansion waistband is a must. These expand but it’s a waste of the word. But, like I said, it’s hard to find pleated so I’m keeping until I can find some more comfortable.

    Great all around

    I was disappointed to not be able to find the 11" shorts that I have been wearing for a number of years so I ordered a pair of the 9". I found them to be the exact same shorts as the 11" but in 9". Other than the length, which worked, everything was the same and I am happy again. Great shorts: look great, wear great, wash and wear looking good. Would greatly recommend them.

    Good but not as great as previous pairs

    Not pleased that you have tried to save money by reducing the amount of fabric so fit is now very tight. I have purchased the same short for perhaps 10-12 years so I have older pairs to compare to and the new ones are not as good size wise, running much smaller.

    Terrific product.. my 2nd pair this year

    My 2nd pair of these shorts. I love them for everything I do in warm weather.. the stretch waist is wonderful! And the fabric is strong, stain resistant, and holds up to a lot of wear..I added a pair recently, not because of any problem with the first pair, but because I couldn’t wait for them to get laundered..

    Realistic sizes

    So pleased to find quality men’s shorts in 35” waist size. Odd numbered sizes are hard to find in pants, and impossible to find in underwear.

    2" increments in waist size only

    Purchased 36" and 37" as my current 37" are getting a bit loose as I lose weight. I also have some old 38s that are much too big (yay!). When they arrived, found that there is absolutely no difference in the two sizes other than the label, as verified by trying them on and by measuring the waist band without being stretched at all, and most accurately, by my wife's measurements. I suspect that, at least for the larger sizes, they make only even number sizes, and sell each size as the actual size (e.g., 34, 36,...) and the next one up (e.g., 35, 37), as my 36s and 37s are identical, and my 38s are larger.

    My revew

    The shorts are made well but could use half sizing due to being just a bit too big. Strech band waist helps with comfort only but tend to sag a litttle in the seat when standing. J have several pairs of these in different colors and they all fit this way.
