Q: Does this have to be vented out of a window, or could you manually empty the tank as it fills like a dehumidifier?

A: Thank you for contacting Newair! The NAC14KWH03 requires to be vented through a window and includes window vent and instructions for installation. The water tray inside the air-conditioner has a water level safety switch that controls the water level. A: It is advertise to cool 300 SQ-FT. I purchased to cool around 400 SQ-FT with a lot of sunlight and it cooled sufficiently.

Awesome AC Unit with small suggestion
I have used Newair AC units for 2 yrs now and its amazing. This model's temperature sensor seems to be offset by outdoor temps through the hose when its cold out. Would love to still cool our room.

For the low low price of $599.99 + tax, you can get a bulky overpriced fan! There is no AC, with this, I’ve tried to contact NewAirUSA by phone, email and on FB, with no luck, I’ve had the thing for 9 days and it sucks.

We have 2 units and would recommend to a friend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 1500 sq ft house and we are currently using 2 of these units to cool our entire home. We have one set up in the master bedroom and the other set up at the other end of the house in our living room. They do not take up much space and even on the 90 degree day have kept the house at 77 or less. The units are very quiet and do a quick job of adjusting the temperature once we are home from work.

Good Small unit... so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #sweepstakes So far (having it about for a week) it's fulfill the requirements and provide good cold air. Remote is plus and some features are good like delay start and timer for sleep as well as shutoff times. It's is heavy so definitely need a help if need to move to second floor. Wheel is help but only on hard floor, not much help on carpet and it is normal. Will use it for this entire summer, till August on full schedule and will update this with more information (hopefully more good words instead of any negative)

Worst product
Don't buy this. After first use cold air comes in then next summer no cold air. I went through the troubleshooting guide and customer support said we will have to send it in. Since its over one year old, warranty is void and they said we have to pay for the repairs after sending it in.

Eh, average to below average.
I expected the air coming out to be cold, and it barely feels cool. It is very hot outside so we’re giving it a chance but it’s not doing a great job of cooling our space. We’ve used a window unit in the past that worked well but we have a space that doesn’t have a standard window so we tried this.

Love it!
This is a great unit for small houses or rooms where the ac doesn't work well. It has a great design and works great, it was able to cool down our large living room pretty fast and kept it cool. Also it's very easy to install and it's less noisy than our previous AC.

Great AC
The AC is a very satifying product. It comes with all parts and easy to set up with a vertically or sliding window. It sufficiently cooled a 400 SQ-FT room for me with a lot of sunlight. Another plus is that it does not require drainage if put on correct setting. It also was not loud.
