Best cashmere sweaters, EVER!
5’7”, 175#, 36D, size Medium. I have a bunch of these cashmere sweaters from past seasons and they are just FANTASTIC! Some of mine are larges, from when I was a little bigger, but if you are a size 12, D-cup or smaller, the Medium is right for you. It will be fitted, but not tight, across the bust, and looser in the waist. I’m 59yo, so I’m not as slim through the waist as when I was younger, and thankfully, this style hides that, without looking oversized and baggy. I got all mine monogrammed, which I love. I have crewnecks and turtlenecks in black, charcoal gray, red, navy, and forest green. I also have the cardigan in red. I love the red for Christmas! They are just wonderful! I really appreciate the modern, T-shirt styling with the straight sleeves and hem. This is a much more updated look than the traditional ribbed sleeves and waist. Thank you, Land’s End! The cashmere, at least as of 2018, is plush, thick and high quality. They hold up very well. All my sweaters, I have at least 10, are 2018 and before. I wore one today and came to see what other colors are available. So many pretty colors! I wash mine in European Perwoll liquid laundry detergent, available on Amazon, in a lingerie bag, then dry flat. They turn out beautifully. If I didn’t have Perwoll, I would use Woolite. Make sure you use a laundry bag, launder on delicate, in cold water, and lay flat to dry. Once the top side is dry, about 5 hours, I hang the sweater on a thick hanger, with well-rounded shoulders. If you don’t have one of those, just flip it and dry flat. Once dry, I always store folded flat in Space Bags. You will get YEARS of wear out of these PERFECT cashmere sweaters. I wouldn’t wear anything else! I know they’re expensive, but consider these sweaters an investment. Mine are all pre-2018. They have served me so well. I wear them with trousers and skirts for work and church, and with jeans and boots, or ski pants when skiing. Cashmere has the unique ability to keep you warm, but prevents you from overheating, because it’s a natural fabric. Once you know your size, I highly recommend getting your sweater monogrammed. The lime green thread looks great on navy. If you’re more understated, you can always go with a tone-on-tone embroidered monogram, instead of a contrasting monogram. I’ve got my eye on that gorgeous turquoise color for my next sweater!
