Very neven interior surface smoothness. Over 3/4 very rough with a 3 inch patch of very smooth surface. Heavy, but not as thick as I thought it would be.

First Cast Iron Piece- Works like a charm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my very first ever cast iron anything! And I bought the 5quart Dutch oven with skillet top to begin my adventure in baking homemade sourdough. So far I’ve made 2 loaves and it works like a charm. Definitely glad I purchased this item and cannot wait to use it to make stews and other yummy dishes

Finish sanding

You need to finish sanding your cookware. That’s the reason everyone hates cast iron because it sticks so bad.. I’ll sand this one down and reseason it so everything doesn’t stick. Quality is much better than pumping out a half finished product.
