    Great comfort!

    Very comfortable ... just ordered a second pair in large/ tall ... length is perfect. Indigo was the only color option without light/dark areas in fabric. I would love to get these pants in black!

    Finally, a replacement

    My previous elastic waist jeans from Land's End were always a bit baggy, but in the end were discontinued and I despaired of finding others. So far, the Starfish jeans are better fitting and more fashionable. I've only worn them a few times, but am pleased with the fabric and fit

    More like this please

    Starfish; denim look but stretchy. and pockets!! These will be worn constantly. I usually buy medium, but recently found them a bit loose. Small fit perfectly except for the long leg. What happened to choosing leg length?

    Chemical smell

    Of the two pair purchased the light colored one smell horrible. A chemical smell not removed after two washes and a soak in white vinegar. They are going back. I have several others that are fine. These are unwearable

    Starfish jeans

    I have worn these jeans for many years - probably as long as they’ve been available. I love them. I recently ordered two new pair and the chemical smell that emanates from them is unbearable. Washing them doesn’t help and, in fact, other clothes in that load picked up the smell. I’m very disappointed. It’s obvious there is a different manufacturer at this point. Never had this issue.

    A sad disappointment

    I bought two of these when they first came out. I had high hopes. I had used the previous version for years and was excited about real pockets in the front. Unfortunately the sizing is super inconsistent (I had to donate one pair because they were just huge, and cut for a tall (not ordered as a tall), the other is a better fit, but they stretch like crazy with any wear, so I am wearing one day and then washing. Also both pairs have a very persistent chemical smell. I foolishly thought it would wash out. I should have returned both pairs.

    Very poor fit

    I bought this because it was on special, and I thought it would be a change from always buying black. Unfortunately it was a very poor fit, so had to be returned.

    Smelly jeans that fit great

    Great fit, but the stench of mothballs is yucky. I’ve washed them a few times but still get the odor. They look and feel great though!

    Comfortable

    These are comfortable and seem to hold their shape ok during a day's wearing. I have ordered another pair. I would just say I returned two different styles - I would so much appreciate a choice of lengths. I've had enough of buying new clothes and instantly having to take a pair of scissors to them. At 5'4" I'm not particularly short.

    Very bad odor

    I just got my Starfish jeans yesterday. Immediately noticed the odor others were describing so put them right into the washer and dryer either fabric sheet. Not much improvement so I plan to hang them outdoors for awhile to see if that helps. I haven’t worn them yet but I also agree that they do appear rather baggy and long. I ordered a large which I always wear.

    Really comfortable

    I was looking for something comfortable to wear round the house and decided to try these. Very surprised at how smart they look, perfectly acceptable to wear out as well. Not tight around the waist so able to wear my normal size, they will be perfect for an upcoming long haul flight.
