Plant Propagation Garden Wood Craft Kit - Mondo Llama™: Ages 8+

The wood stains were all dried out, so it made it very difficult to try and do anything with it. If they wern't dried out I think I wouldv'e enjoyed it much more.

So cute I haven’t did a craft since I was a kids. Gave me something to do and have fun with it. The stain was easy to work with great directions.

The stain is really solid and hard to work with and the brushes start to disintegrate quickly. I ended up only staining one of them because I didn’t want to deal with it on the second.

Gave this as a gift, and the recipient was thrilled!

I loved it! I will say that there isn’t a lot of volume. It’s really great to get a fresh cut going.

So… I saw the box and thought my FIL would love these because he often water propagates plant cuttings (master level green thumb)… then when I went to wrap it, I noticed it was a DIY kit. Luckily I hadn’t procrastinated as long as I usually do, so I stained and assembled them before I gifted them. They turned out beautiful and expensive looking. Total win!!

LOVED this kit from Target! It includes everything you need to create two (one small, one large) plant propagation stands. I suggest taking it slow as you stain the wood pieces, too much stain will cause drips that soak into the wood. I personally did one thin coat, ensuring to coat even the “inside” pieces, so no wood was left unfinished. This ensures that the wood is protected in case it gets humid with the plant/watering. The gloves are thin plastic protective gloves (not gardening gloves) but are necessary to not stain your fingers. The propagation vial is a great size for small plants, I add one pump of Miracle Gro Indoor Plant Food every two weeks or so, and my vine is thriving under grow lights. Enjoy the great craft! This kit is perfect for any age plant lover, it contains everything (except paper towel) you need and there was stain left if you want to do an additional coat!

I received these as part of a gift, and they are so cute! I ended up using a mix of the two stains on both, for a unique finish. They are easy to put together and look great with my plant collection. The only negative was that my first set arrived broken, but I was able to exchange them.
