Q: Does this have a latch system? Or must it be threaded with a seatbelt

A: It has both. But since the weight limits for using the latch system are lower it is recommended to use a seat belt installation from the start, which is pretty easy if you want the you tube video first.

A: I have it in a 2010 Highlander and there is sufficient room forward facing with the front seat still able to adjust and recline a bit. Since the 4Runner is a little bigger, I would think it should fit just fine!

It’s user friendly and easy to install, you can recline it if needs be. She will have it for a long while. Now we no longer have to struggle to put her in the car we just rotate it to the door and snap her in. We got the pink lining and it’s beautiful. Great buy we love it!

The 360 swivel feature is a total game-changer—it makes getting my child in and out of the car so much easier, especially on busy days. Installation was also straightforward, which I really appreciated. The seat feels sturdy and secure, and the extended rear-facing option gives me peace of mind. However, there are a couple of things worth mentioning. First, the shoulder strap quality isn’t my favorite—they don’t feel as soft or durable as I expected for a car seat in this price range. Second, it’s a bit bulky, which might be something to keep in mind if you have a smaller vehicle. It fits much better in our SUV than in our compact car. Even with those points, I’m still very happy with the purchase. It’s functional, comfortable, and offers great safety features. Definitely recommend it if you have the space for it!

So if you have multiple cars, such as your spouse and want to use the evenflo, you have to buy 2 evenflo because you cannot just buy a base. The car seat and base is rather bulky but it is nice. If you can’t buy a 2nd base for it, don’t bother unless you only own one car. There are other options allowing you to switch vehicles easily.

We love the rotate feature and it seems really comfy for her! The material of the straps is a bit thin, so the buckles flip on them often & I have to retread them correctly. Also, the buckle you clip in to doesn’t stay up and you have to pull it out from under there bottom every time you put them in there. Not a big deal but just a little annoying. It was really simple to install BUT part of the reason I gave it 4 stars is because the owners manual and directions are EXTREMELY confusing. I’m usually good at following manuals but the wording of this one was out of this world confusing. I ended up watching a YouTube video on how to install and it is stupid proof simple… it seemed so complicated based on the manual but it was not. Save yourself a lot of time and just watch a video.

My daughter is 6 months old and I looked for a comfortable and safe carseat, and this what I found, also was on a good discount. I love, its not to big, for a big car its okay, easy to rotate and to pickup baby and comfortable for sleeping, also its 3in1, very easy to use for a long time.

Car seat is 7 months old and currently wiggling (base is tight and does not move) However I can also pull off the car seat from the base. Extremely unsafe and disappointed as I have many friends who have the same car seats and they do not so this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We started with a Graco. . . thought that was great, went to uppababy, wow what a step up BUT our child started getting to big for that, so we purchased this after reading through about a gazillion reviews of different products online. . . . WOW this has to be hands down the most convenient car seat to use. My wife drives an Audi A4 (compact car) and this thing fists so well and makes getting our child in and out so incredibly easy. We at first thought we might need the slim rotating but the full size 360 works well in a compact car and in my medium sized truck (GMC Canyon Crew cab). The Slim probably would be best if you had a 2 door car or truck or a double cab truck. If your on the fence get off it an get this car seat

Car seat base became entangled in seatbelt with retractor engaged. There was no way to remove it without cutting it off and rendering the car seat a piece of junk. Poor design, would not recommend.
