4pk Heavy Duty Packing Tape - up&up™

This tape is terrible, I bought it for packing to move and the tape all came undone. A total waste of money. Now I am having to buy new tape and retape a ton of boxes.

Some packing tape has a smell and some does not. This tape has a strong, absolutely vile chemical smell that seems toxic. If not for that, I would give it five stars.

Decent tape but definitely not heavy duty. Gave only 4 stars because its not heavy duty at all.

Perfect inexpensive tape for packaging orders

Sticks to cardboard boxes. Stickier than duck brand hd clear tape.

I send a lot of packages and thought I'd try the Up & Up brand to save some money. The first roll I tried didn't work well - it sticks more in the tape dispenser than others and it has a weird smell to it; it's quite strong. Maybe the regular packing tape (not heavy duty) doesn't have the odor and works better? I can't get a smooth long strip of tape in one swipe like I usually get; this tape pulls in the dispenser so it goes on in short abrupt sections. I won't buy again and will go back to Scotch.

Love work really well

We bought for taping up boxes, since we are moving. Tape comes up almost immediately, doesn’t stick to boxes, new nor used. Now we are stuck with 4 rolls.

I was pleasantly surprised by how strong and sticky this tape is. We recently moved and not a single box came undone. I was going to buy scotch brand, but the ones I was looking at had terrible reviews that said it didn’t stick to cardboard. I’m glad I went for the Target brand instead.

The tape itself is very hard to use – it’s difficult to unroll the tape to adhere it to anything. And the rolls are just slightly smaller than every other packing tape in existence, so they don’t fit on most tape guns.

Splits a LOT when trying to peel it off - frustrating waste of time. Sticky enough, hence 2 stars.

Better quality/thickness for shipping safety

Tape worked well. Not as sticky as some other brands which made me nervous but definitely sticks and none of my boxes came open during our recent move. Price was good and definitely works!

I had to move recently and had to buy tape. At first I was weary when I picked this up since it wasn’t a generic brand like scotch, etc. but I was surprised at the quality of the product and it held up better than the other brands we had used to tape up other boxes.

Purchased as i needed something asap, the tape is not of good quality. I've taped up boxes that are a couple of days old and the tape is already lifting up on several boxes I taped. I would not recommend this.

We bought this up&up heavy duty packing tape for a recent cross-country move. We weren’t thrilled with how difficult this tape was to pull off the roll, and we were disappointed by how loud the sound was when we did so. As parents of young kids, we did most of our packing when children were sleeping, and this tape was loud enough to make us worry that we’d wake them. All-in-all though, the tape did the job! It’s nice and thick, and we were happy with how well-supported our boxes were during our move.

Normally Up & Up is a great alternative to brand name products. Their bubble wrap, for instance, is great. I bought this tape for a move, wanting to save a few bucks and expecting that same quality. This has to be one of the worst tapes I've ever used, though. #1 problem: it leaves a TERRIBLE sticky residue on any surface it touches. I used it to keep some drawers in a craft storage container from falling out, and even after cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol, clorox, and goo gone, there is still such a strong residue that if I leave anything on top of it, it'll leave stickiness on that object. I've never experienced that before. #2 problem: it is so, so loud. Yes, tape is usually pretty loud, but this actually alerted my apple watch for dangerously high sound exposure lol. On the plus side, the stickiness is probably a benefit if you really want to make sure your boxes are closed. It also fits fine in tape dispensers that I've tried. At around $4/roll it's somewhat competitive pricing. But those two issues are enough to make me never buy this again.

I feel like anytime I need it I don’t have it so I love the option of getting a 4 pack . It is heavy duty like it says. The rolls are thick and should last a long time. They have the tape mark to show the start. Can use with a dispenser or without

The 4pk heavy duty packaging tape is great. The clear is great for tapping up moving boxes or a storage box. This is the perfect size pack. Very heavy duty. Kept all my boxes sealed. So easy to use. I would recommend this product.
