Are you seeking a plate that doubles as a nail filer? Then this is your plate!
The bottom of this plate comes unglazed, and this clay is particularly rough. On top of that, the label is scored so it doesn’t come off cleanly in one piece. As I worked on peeling it off of each individual plate, I noticed the unfinished surface was literally filing my nail down. Totally cool feature if that’s what you’re looking for, but not for me personally.

The ceramic is black, so the white overglaze is grey, not cream. I ordered 24 plates and threw my others out, so I’m keeping them, but I’m disappointed that the color is misrepresented. Also someone said they look like ceramic paper plates and now I can’t unsee it. Picture is compared to an actual white paper plate for size and color reference.
