Poor Quality and Missing Parts

Here's a more concise and engaging version of your review: I bought this item as a gift for my granddaughter. Unfortunately, when we opened the box to assemble it for her birthday, we discovered that the manufacturer did not include the necessary hardware. We had to make a trip to the local hardware store to buy the missing parts. When I contacted Target customer service to report the issue and request a refund for the hardware cost, they informed me that they couldn't adjust the price, issue a refund, or provide a gift card. The customer service representative was unhelpful. Additionally, the quality of the item is poor, with peeling paint and missing instructions. I would not recommend this product.
