Excellent product, but pricey

My kids love their tonie boxes

Bought for my daughters first birthday and my two year old has taken it over. I might have to purchase another one.

The one I received doesn’t seem to hold a charge for longer than about 2 hours. It is very fun for the kids but maybe the one I received is defective.

We bought this for our one-year-old for Christmas and it’s her absolute favorite toy. She easily figured out how to turn it on and change the characters. She’ll play with this for 20+ minutes on her own. We start each day with a Tonies dance party and she loves to choose the character/music. The volume can be loud enough for an energizing dance party but can also be quiet enough for us to do other things while she’s using it. It’s durable and we have no fear it’ll break if she drops it. Plus Tonie characters make great presents for friends and family who want to get her something. I can’t recommend this enough, especially because we bought it during a 30% off sale!

I have spent approximately two years going back and forth on a TonieBox. Finally, I decided to purchase one for my newly 6yo daughter. Honestly, I really bummed I held out so long because they're great! They come is a few different color options and have several combination kits that include various characters and/or accessories. Initially, I wasn't sure it would be worth the money but now, I'm sure it is. Here's why: offers a healthy alternative to screen time. Many of the characters have songs or educational components. The child can 100% be in control without an adult's help/supervision, worry or frustration. It takes less than 15 minutes to setup and maybe 5 minutes to teach your child how to use. There are a variety of popular move and tv characters, as well as book and Tonie characters, and even educational one's. The tonie box is covered with a soft, protective covering to protect against accidental drops. It can be used stationary or taken on the go and has a long battery life. The charger is a rounded, flat charger with a smooth, singular prong that us safe and easy for children to use. The volume controls are the ears and tge volume goes from muted to almost a soft whisper to bring heard across the house. The TonieBox also has a headphone jack and optional additional (for purchase) headphones (or I'm sure you could use your own). Each character has a varying run time from 20 -30 minutes, which concerned me at first but, it turns out that those run times were well thought out. It's about the length of time a child will spend doing a particular activity or a pre-bedtime routine. I'm certain I left a few things out but, I'm sure you get the point. It's a purchase well worth the money. Quality construction, educational and fun for a broad age spectrum.

The toy itself is very cute. However, the volume doesn’t get loud at all. It’s enough for a small room but if you’re having family time - it’s not enough volume unless you’re all sitting next to the box. For $100, you would think it would be similar to an actual speaker since that’s the only real feature it has.

The Tonies box is super cute my daughter loves it. It’s super soft so seems pretty durable. She likes to change her characters and even plays the the figures by themselves.

My review isn’t of the tonie itself, but more so for their customer service. The address for shipping got entreated incorrectly, when I reached out to tonies customer service I was told that “ Unfortunately we're unable to make any changes to your order once it has been placed. Sadly, this would also include any changes to your order's shipping address”. When I advised that was not an actually address and asked for next steps was told “ Unfortunately your order has already been processed in our fulfillment center. This means that we cannot change or cancel your order”. Funny thing is, that second email came after reaching out to customer service and prior to receiving any shipping information. Meaning there was time to make adjustments as needed. Even more frustrating because tonies publicly posted code of ethics states “treat others how you want to be treated” among other things that directly contradicts their employees actions. While the tonie itself might be a great product their customer service is less that satisfactory. My advice avoid ordering from their company directly and find a third party retailer with better customer service.

This arrived in a smashed shipping box and the tonies wasn't inside of its box. The contents of the tonies box was spilled out inside of the box and had an odd smell to it. I'm unsure if Target sent a refurbished tonies or one that was returned but we obvioussly had to return this since it is a birthday gift for our 6 year old daughter. Moral of the story be careful when selecting Shipping as the option of receiving your items, it may be better to do Pickup.

My son enjoys this lots he likes to listen to the more male kinds of tonies though I can’t blame him. It’s definitely for the younger age group.

This Tonie Box changed our lives! TV overstimulation no more! We’ve gone screen free now and it was the smoothest transition. I must admit I was skeptical but it worked wonders. It’s so fun for my 2.5 year old, it promotes independence which is a plus!

This box has become such a staple in our daily routine… They run to it first thing in the morning to play their favorite songs and use it at night for stories... such an awesome thing to have around

The Little Mermaid Toniebox Starter Set is a wonderful toy for young kids. The Toniebox is soft, sturdy, and very easy for children to use. The Little Mermaid figure is well-made and colorful, perfectly capturing Ariel’s charm. Setting it up is quick, and the sound quality is great. The Little Mermaid story is fun and keeps kids entertained. This set is a great way to encourage kids' imagination and creativity.
