A: Yes, it comes with a charger.
submitted byMatt - 2 years agoA: Yes the Toniebox is rechargeable and comes with its charging doc, it takes around 3 hours for the battery to fully recharge. Once the battery is fully charged, the Toniebox can be actively used for up to 7 hours. The battery life will vary depending on factors such as the volume of playback. The louder the volume, the shorter the battery life.

Q: Can all Tonies Play every character or do you have to buy one for each character separate. Example: frozen to play Anna Elsa and Olaf A different Tonie to play Toy Story?

A: The Tonie starter box can play any Tonie "figure". So just because you buy the frozen starter box with elsa on it, doesnt mean you cant use the Olaf or Toy Story on the box. Hope that helps!

Q: I will set this up before Christmas to gift to my 4 year old granddaughter. When she travels home will she need to use her home WiFi to download other tonie characters?

A: Hey Hadie. Perfect! The Toniebox only needs a WiFi or hotspot connection during the initial setup and when downloading new Tonie content. As long as the Tonie figures are fully downloaded while connected to any compatible WiFi network, they will be ready for offline use. Once the content is fully downloaded, the Toniebox and Tonies work without requiring any WiFi or hotspot connection.

A: Hey there. The Toniebox is ready to set up right out of the box, however, we recommend charging for a full 5 hours without use before gifting. Once initially charged, the Toniebox can last up to 7 hours of use and takes about 3 hours to recharge. This ensures your little listeners can enjoy their Tonies uninterrupted!

A: Hey there. The Toniebox does not have Bluetooth connectivity, so wireless headphones cannot be used without an adapter. However, it does feature a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, making it compatible with any headset that has a 3.5mm plug, including the official Tonie Headphones!

This wouldn’t connect to the charger properly. Won’t charge so is completely useless. I returned it. It’s so wasteful that the Tonie company won’t address the battery issues they’ve had for the past couple years.

Santa brought this special Toniebox for our toddler who loves Frozen. we thankfully got other characters, because the vocals on this one are surprisingly bad. Not sure what we paid for when we can’t even get the licensed audio from Disney itself. If I had known the songs were re-recorded, I would have gotten the regular Tonie box instead and skipped the bootleg Elsa and Anna.

It’s difficult to skip the songs (you have to smack the side of the tonie box and my toddler isn’t able to it herself - I can barely get to work sometimes). ALSO (the biggest thing for me) the songs aren’t original Disney songs. Why market them with Disney characters if you’re going to have awful fake singers do the songs? My toddler hasn’t noticed but my older kids and I can’t stand listening to some of the songs. The singers are so awful.

But for the second consecutive year Target paired itself with FedEx and this item went into the black hole of Grove City, OH where it disappeared from the radar screen. Target was non-responsive to my inquiries. Item arrived yesterday...too late. Never again.

Does not work unless plugged in despite charging it thoroughly. Just won’t turn on. Also, the Moana and Elsa characters include covers of the songs, not the original vocalists from the soundtrack. Sounds different, and not as great. For the price, quite disappointing. Wouldn’t have purchased, if this was known.

Will not work off of the charger, Battery has issues and they are apparently very common. Toniebox online will not take this box to be exchanged for a new one although it was purchased new from target less than a month ago.

Purchased this for my daughters 3rd bday, we were excited to set it up. It never lit up, even after sitting on the charger over night. We exchanged it for a new one, got it set up and running only to see that it won't work when unplugged. Now I'm just returning and will not repurchase. Appears to be a common issue, not sure why they're selling faulty tonieboxes!

Absolutely horrible and I told the company support this product shouldn’t even be on the shelves! Went through 3 boxes and returns and all 3 would not work off the charger. Returning the final one and not trying again.

My kids love their Tonie box. They use it every night before bedtime and during the day too. The only wonky things we’ve had happen is, when using headphones it sometimes gets stuck in headphone mode. You have to get something long and skinny to put in the hole for the headphone jack and move it around. So far this solution has worked. The other issue we had is the charger not always connecting. We have to move the charger around a lot to get it to make the charger connected sound. Tonie did send us a replacement though and I was impressed that they stand behind their product like that.

Purchased this in store and was very excited to use it. Attempted to charge it and it would not work off the charger. Charged overnight and still continued to not work properly. Had to request a replacement from the company and it’s been about a week and it still hasn’t arrived. We purchased one from the same target in a different color at Christmas time for my niece and it had a similar issue.

Went through 3 of these all had the same issue, would not work unless it was plugged into the charger. Good concept but poor internal structure. It’s a common issue and the company won’t respond to your complaint forms so keep your receipts if you plan on testing your luck!

I bought this months ago for my daughter's second birthday, we were very excited. We had it charging for 5+ hours and it still won't play unless it's plugged into the charging port. Requested to get a new one so we'll see how long that takes. We're also super disappointed that the songs on the Tonie characters aren't the originals from the movies. Some of these singers sound nothing like the originals. Just disappointed for how much these things cost
