Q: Is the toniebox rechargeable?

A: Yes the Toniebox is rechargeable and comes with its charging doc, it takes around 3 hours for the battery to fully recharge. Once the battery is fully charged, the Toniebox can be actively used for up to 7 hours. The battery life will vary depending on factors such as the volume of playback. The louder the volume, the shorter the battery life.

A: No. Each tonies figurine has their own unique stories and songs.

A: Hi - the original Toniebox (Toniebox 1) colors are all the same regardless of what figurine it comes with. The new Toniebox 2 has similar shades as the original Toniebox but don't match exactly.

Q: What type of charger comes with a tonie box? Can I charge it in Europe if I buy it in the USA?

A: Hi Sara, The US version of the Toniebox charging station is only compatible with 120V outlets while the EU version of the Toniebox charging station is compatible with 120-240V outlets. As a result, if you would like to use the US charging station in a region that utilizes 220-240V outlets, you would need to use a converter, which would change both the voltage and also allow the plug to fit the outlet. The US charging station will work normally as long as you are using a voltage converter to bring the voltage down to 120V.

Q: I will set this up before Christmas to gift to my 4 year old granddaughter. When she travels home will she need to use her home WiFi to download other tonie characters?

A: Hey Hadie. Perfect! The Toniebox only needs a WiFi or hotspot connection during the initial setup and when downloading new Tonie content. As long as the Tonie figures are fully downloaded while connected to any compatible WiFi network, they will be ready for offline use. Once the content is fully downloaded, the Toniebox and Tonies work without requiring any WiFi or hotspot connection.

A: Hey there. The Toniebox is ready to set up right out of the box, however, we recommend charging for a full 5 hours without use before gifting. Once initially charged, the Toniebox can last up to 7 hours of use and takes about 3 hours to recharge. This ensures your little listeners can enjoy their Tonies uninterrupted!

I was skeptical at purchasing a Toniebox for years. I didn’t want all of the little characters everywhere. However, our local library had one to check out and let me say they are wonderful. My kids will listen to stories for hours. I ended up purchasing multiple boxes so each kid could listen to their own story. My daughter loves this Frozen one!
