    Cheap material

    Beautiful color and I loved it unfortunately what prompted the review is that I have had this duvet set for LESS than one month. I don’t even use the pillows for sleeping they are for decor only yet after the second wash there is now a large hole in the pillowcase. I would expect this from a cheap set, not a $100 set. Very disappointed in Casaluna’s quality.

    Horrible quality washed once and threading is already coming apart along with this it traps heat while sleeping and makes it incredibly hot. I have woken up a couple times sweating while using this which hasn’t happened to me before. Ultimately super disappointed and sad I spent money on this

    Do not buy, broke my dryer!

    Beautiful duvet cover but it is so heavy that my first time washing it, it almost broke my washer. And the second time it actually broke my dryer! Literally broke the belt because it’s so heavy and there was nothing else in the dryer. It is also really warm when sleeping. Do not buy unless you have a commercial washer and dryer.

    I’ve bought two of these, the first one ripped in the wash along the zipper seam. I figured I might’ve washed it wrong or something, so I bought another one and washed it by itself on delicate, delicate dry. Held up for two washes and then ripped worse than the first one. Just recently, as of yesterday, the ties inside ripped on two of the corners. I wanted to love it so much, it is very soft and the 3 way zipper is fantastic, but the fact it’s this expensive only for it to rip and tear so easily is wild.

    Doesn't hold up

    We loved this duvet cover. It is so soft, but we have had it less than 6 months and it has wholes all over it. It does not hold up at all. For almost $120, I would expect it to last more than 6 months. I now have to replace it because it looks terrible. Such a bummer!

    Wanted to love but returning

    Annoyed

    I’m not happy with my purchase of their duvet cover. I love the color, the zipper on 3 sides does make it easier to put on but it doesn’t fit my duvet insert properly. I put it on initially without washing and was annoyed at how short it made my duvet. I’ve tried turning the duvet thinking maybe I put it in wrong but no, still bunched up inside. What’s also annoying is the matching sheets. The flat sheet is soooo long it hangs probably 8 inches below the duvet on both sides of my bed. Maybe it’s meant for a super thick mattress? Not sure. Either way won’t buy again.

    Poor quality – ripped after first wash

    I was really excited about this set, but unfortunately the quality didn’t hold up. After the very first wash, the pillowcases ripped at the seams. For the price, I expected much better durability. The fabric felt nice initially, but clearly doesn’t last. Would not recommend.

    I was nervous going into this duvet set. I loved the idea of the zipper, but it felt cheaply constructed initially. However, six months in, with washing 1-2x per month, it has held up very well! There are some threads inside that could probably be trimmed but I don't want to chance anything coming apart. The corner ties are very convenient and overall it looks wonderful and feels even better. We're planning to upgrade to a larger bed and I've already added this set back to my cart to buy again.

    Very heavy duvet cover and gets ridiculously hot, almost like it traps the heat under it.. AND I have a cooling duvet insert. I don’t understand.. it’s cool before all the body heat gets trapped. Material is soft but doesn’t stay cool. And because it’s so thin it locks onto your body all night, it’s the worst purchase ever.
