I’ve enjoyed all of Tricia’s books and they are so beautiful! The pictures don’t do them justice. The foils and designs are nicely done and to top it off they’re actually fun, interesting reads!

I love shadow wielders and was intrigued by the premise of a man eater of a FMC rather than the whole feeble damsel in distress FMC that's currently trending. Sorry, I know that was kind of a run-on sentence. Anyways, the actual story doesn't deliver. The writing is SO JUVENILE that it's unbearable! It's like it was written by a hormonal high school kid. The FMC just acts like this entitled, spoiled little brat who is so disrespectful that she doesn't care about her dad walking in on her with a guy. Then she brags to HER FATHER about duping men into buying her expensive things. I made it through about 5 pages before being so disgusted that I couldn't go on. Ugh, I hate when I get deceived by a pretty book cover.

I hadn't seen these books out and about before and only read an ebook sample so I didn't expect the book to be as thin as it is, which the picture makes it seem like a bigger book. But had I known they're only 336 pages it's not a bad thing! I also wasn't expecting the handwritten notes in the bonus content in the back when I was inspecting haha. Arrived quickly and the bookmark ribbon is an awesome surprise! The book without the sleeve is gorgeous!
