These are my favorite go to for lentils. They keep their form and have a wonderful flavor.

When I lived in Portland it was easy to find any Bob's Red Mill product; if it wasn't at my usual grocer I could run across town to the factory store. I didn't realize how lucky I was. Now I live in Albuquerque where many stores carry a few a Bob's products, but I have to order some of my staples online because nobody has them. These green petite French lentils are one of those. I've tried several varieties of green lentils, but they all become mushy when cooked in soup. Bob's French green lentils hold their shape and become tender, not mushy or grainy. During the pandemic, so many people bought up Bob's products that the Red Mill factory ran out of these and many other of the products I regularly use. I am so happy to have just received my first order of a case of petite green French lentils in over a year, plus a case of polenta and a few other staples. I can't wait to make a batch of quick & easy French lentil soup from my old Bob's Red Mill Cookbook!

Bob's Red Mill products are always the best quality. We have been Forks Over Knives Plant Based for 3 years now. I purchase whole food products from many different providers, but Red Mill products are at the top of my list for quality.

I love puy lentils, as well as French green lentils. I have to say Bob's Red Mill are amongst some of the best I have had. All very uniform, so they all had the same texture. Also I didn’t feel like I needed to sort them. They seemed sorted and cleaned. I did rinse them but they seemed game ready. The texture was fantastic. I cooked them up with a mirepoix, bacon, bay leaves and thyme. And topped it with some creme fraiche, chives, and some Chile oil.

I fell in love with lentils by this brand. These lentils are my first purchase of lentils and im so glad i did. Wish they were organic. But they will do for now. I used them to make stews,soups and lentils and rice! Yummy! Learning more ways to prepare them.

So pretty. Holds shape after cooking. Good hot or cold. Makes a great salad.

Delicious! I live on the other side of the country, but still purchase my grains, beans and essentials from Bob's! Consistently, fresh and cook up extremely well.

These are the small green lentils I've been looking for. I cooked the first time yesterday and they are delicious. My usual source has been out of stock so I bought these and I'm very pleased.

By far the best tasting, in my opinion, with high fiber. Makes a great lentil soup or add lentils to any soup for some fiber.

Very nice product, the texture is just a tad firmer than the normal brown lentil (not as mushy, keeps its shape for the most part). I’m always looking for ways to help my family enjoy healthy foods and try to get a variety as well! Thanks for a great product!
