Tie-Dye Jersey Tied Pillow Craft Kit- Mondo Llama™

We do lots of tie-dye but do it diy. We but everything separately and then make what we want. This was our first full product and was surprised with how expensive it was. However, once it arrived and I opened it, this is really a great price for the package. The pillow is a decent size. The rest is typical tie-dye items.

This is a tie-dye pillow craft kit for ages fourteen and older, however my kids were dying to do this craft so with adult supervision we got it done. They had a blast getting to create their own designs with the colors. We used a quick google search to look up more design ideas as well. This is totally worth the cost!

This is the tie-dye jersey tied pillow craft kit by Mondo Llama. This is a really nice set and it makes a cute usable pillow. This kit is recommended for ages 12-14 and up and to do this project unsupervised that’s about right. But with supervision I made the pillow with my kids who are much younger. The set does include everything you need. The main thing they needed help with was putting on the rubber bands. They loved squeezing the paints all over the pillow. And then I helped them tie up the edges to complete the pillow after the paint was dry. Super cute and super fun to make.

This craft kit is great for older kids or if you have kids of younger ages, you’re going to need to help since it is a tie blanket meets tie dye. The pillows turned out so cute and I personally loved that it even came with the plastic to put down to craft on so your table or floor didn’t get messed up. We did these as a multi age project where little as did the tie dye and bigs tied them up and it was perfect. This is such a cute party activity to then take home as the party favors especially for big kids who maybe just want to hang. The only thing I would say is we wished it came with more rubber bands.

The kit is great. Still in the process so I don’t know how it will turn out but I wanted to leave a review to say the gloves in the kit are junk!!!! Use your own! My index finger and thumb got stained through the gloves where I was holding to wet fabric with the dye on it.

Complete project kit for creative types. Great gift idea for kids around 8 and up.
