Great taste. Terrible packaging.
While this is my favorite snack from Target, I’m giving it 1 star review because of the absolutely TERRIBLE packing. Companies make product packages “child-proof,” but these things are adult-proof. You shouldn’t have to have a blade on you in order to get the package open. There looks like there’s a line where you should be able to tear along to open, but no. Idk what changed, but it was never this hard to before. Look at this package.

I bought the Salted Carmel Trail Mix to be part of a three tier snack bowl while we had friends visiting. Everyone loved it and I ended up having to make 2 more Target trips to get more because it was disappearing so fast. Was sad when I tried this trail mix and was reaching the bottom of the bag, so ordered 3 more LOL. Perfection. Not too salty, just a touch from the pretzels. Delicious little caramel cups and crunch from the nuts. Sweet, but not overpowering. It's just - perfect. Might even make a good topping for caramel apples and I'll try mixed with popcorn at some point, or maybe throw in some dried apricots. I should order a case full.

Kind of artificial tasting tbh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big trail mix lover and these were okay. Not great, not terrible. I thought the caramel bites were a little artificial tasting and the nuts had a weird coating on them. I didn’t mind them overall but they weren’t as clean tasting as other trail mixes that contain more whole ingredients. This was a good sized bag at least for the cost but I probably wouldn’t purchase this again. I received an incentive to write this review.

There is a satisfying crunch from the pretzel balls, plus the slightly chewy peanuts and the melt in your mouth morsels. Flavor wise, it’s a unique take on a classic - the salty pretzels and peanuts and the sweet butterscotch and other morsels make for a delightful snack! There is less added sugar than I’d expect, which is great! It’s a little more on the sweet side than what I’d take for the trail, but it’s a great afternoon pick me up! I divided it up into bags to make for easy to grab snacks, and the portion size is nice and filling. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ratio of pretzel balls to the rest of the items is sad. The pretzels and the chocolate bites were very good and a good combination of flavors. But when I would pour into my hand, more pretzels balls would come out. To be honest, the pretzel balls didn't fit in with the rest of the flavors. The mini white chocolate cup has a bite of caramel in it that was really good. I received an incentive to write this review.

The combination of sweet and salty is absolutely spot on. Each bite delivers satisfying mix of crunchy, peanuts, sweet, butterscotch, almonds, and fun candy like caramel and white confection drops the pretzel balls add just the right amount of crunch and saltines to bounce it all out. Great value and taste of trail mix!

The pretzel balls really help as a neutral and are a great crunch. I like the lightly salted peanuts and the flavors all work well together. This is a great protein snack and very good price for trail mix. My husband is obsessed so this is a new favorite for him! I received an incentive to write this review.
