Awesome U-Wing
This is a beautiful set and was such an enjoyable building experience and display piece that it kickstarted my play scale ship collection. As a fan of the Andor series, the included mini figures are great. But my favorite function is the opening and closing wings. A very good looking and sturdy model.

So much potential but misses the mark
This set is phenomenal. It looks great, has great play functions, and is super sturdy. It has some great figures too. But it's a troop transport with room for only 1 passenger and a cargo "crate" that doesn't even open. And the pilot has to lay down to fit in the cockpit. Plus the doors and front lower window aren't as accurate as they could've been, but I care much less about that. With a few minor tweaks using the same pieces even, this set could've easily seated 3+the pilot, maybe more, without impacting the overall durability of the set. As evidenced by the variety of fan made mods out there. Kids want to play with sets and carry their troops around. It's a shame to see this pattern of limited interior space among recent sets. I hope the Lego design team starts to prioritize that aspect a little higher than they currently seem to because otherwise with is an absolutely stellar model.

Good Tinier U-Wing, Old One Better
Overall, this set is decent for the price and what you get. I like the addition of the two ISB agents. The play feature is nice and like that the wings open and can fit (barely) troops in the lower area. It is just difficult for me to totally like this set because I bought the bigger and in my opinion, better set that came out during Rogue One. That one felt more like a transport, can fit more troops inside, the doors swung open the correct way, etc.

Excited!
Since my grandson will not be with me for Christmas Day, he got to open his presents early. He was So excited as he opened the gift; he exclaimed,”Oh boy, it’s just the Lego I wanted- the Rebel Starfighter!” As soon as he finished opening his other presents, he immediately ran to his room to begin tearing into the box and started building the Starfighter!

Kind of small - looks great.
First and foremost, you can’t really fit the figures into the ship very well. It’s pretty small and the underbelly doesn’t seem to fit figures at all. At least not cleanly. But I love this set. It comes with some cool figures and I think it looks great. It was fun to build and even though figures don’t fit in it very well I think it’s pretty to scale with mini figures. I enjoyed building it and have it on display in my room. If you liked Andor or Rogue One you should definitely get this set.

Great for Andor fans!
I got this set for myself thinking it wouldn’t be too big, but I was happily surprised to see it was much bigger than expected. The mini figures are really nice, but the print on Dedra’s legs are VERY faded. Otherwise perfect, and the build was very enjoyable. I have a few gripes with the set, like very tight cockpit and interior, or the doors not being sliding ones like they are in the show/movie, but overall very nice. If you find this on clearance or a sale, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend.

Good. Not great
Andor being one of the best pieces of Star Wars media, I was excited to see what LEGO had to offer. Unfortunately, this was about it. Aside from four amazing new minifigures, the build is extremely lackluster. In universe, the U-Wing is a transport ship, which means it’s supposed to be able to hold many troopers, however this set holds around four not including the cockpit, (which a minifigure has to be lying down to enter.) Don’t get me wrong, the set itself is not terribly priced and looks quite nice. But the downscaling needs to stop, especially when comparing it to the 2016 Rebel U-Wing which is better in every conceivable way. An ok set with good minifigures.

Missing mini figures
All mini figures were missing. This is the second set we bought this month with no mini figures in it.

Nice Model, below average play value
Primarily as a collector, the lack of play value does not affect me much. However, this model only able to seat at most 3 figures, and not even a proper seat for K-2SO, is pretty dissapointing. As a display model, it's nice, but that's kinda it

Pure Fun!
This is the most fun I’ve had with a Lego set in some time! The building experience and playability are amazing and the look is captured really well. There has been a lot of discourse around this set being smaller than the previous version. In my eyes, this doesn’t affect the overall experience. I had so much fun with this one! A win for Lego Star Wars in my opinion.

Amazing Set!
I have never watched the Andor show but I love Rougue one and all the Starships in the Star Wars galaxy; I think that the designer of this set knew exactly what they were doing because this set is overall extremely accurate!

UMMM…. wow pretty small
Ahem, Lego sold this set sooooo bad. More rebels would have been appreciated and the cargo bay should have been a healthy size. Not good as you should be able to tell Lego. Stores had this on discount on day one. Hope we get a better rebel set next years in 2026 that is actually good and NOT SHRUNK!!!!!!

Lego Star Wars Andor U-Wing
I purchased this set after finishing watching Andor season two! I had to add a U-Wing to my collection because I wasn’t collecting Lego when the Rogue One set came out! I think the build was fun! It’s sturdy enough for kids to play with it and easy to build for the age range suggested! I love the K2-SO figure and Dedra figures! I’m a huge fan of Cassian! It looks great displayed and I would recommend it for anyone interested! I hope Lego releases more Andor sets or other sets from Rogue One in the future! The price point was fair for this set as opposed to some newer sets pricing as well! I wish they had added at least one other figure with the set, but all in all I think it’s a great purchase for kids play or adults collectors!

Family time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little guy took a liking to Legos and hadn't liked back since. He likes the complicated ones to put together, me not so much. I like that they include a few extra pieces in the bags just in case you miss a piece. We enjoy displaying them in his room once completed.
