  • A: Hello Kelly. This floor lamp uses a standard E26 bulb base and can accommodate up to 150 watts. The rotary dimmer switch will work best with dimmable LED bulbs specifically labeled as compatible with dimmer switches. Not all LED bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb packaging to ensure dimmer compatibility for smooth operation.

  • A: Hi - no it does not, it has an open shade bottom, However, it does have a dimmer switch control, so you can easily set the lighting output to whatever level you want. Thank you for the question.

This lamp is scratched and when I put it together the top pole section is bent so the lamp is crooked. And now I find out I can’t return this for refund or replacement lamp, this is not good business! Target normally has longer returns time and this is a big reason that I like target.

Nice appearance , shade is good quality. The threads on the metal sections were machined poorly and made it difficult to assemble. My biggest complaint is the packing material. When you remove the lamp base, the styrofoam packing crumbles into a million pieces and I was vacuuming particles up for an hour.

We Are Very Happy With This Lamp!

This lamp is the perfect addition to our family room. Well made and stylish, it really is a great looking lamp. I put it on a timer so it comes on automatically and it lights up the corner over a comfy chair and makes that section of the room an inviting place to sit and relax in what otherwise was a dark neglected part of our house. I was pleasantly surprised that the lamp is very solid and the base is heavy so no concerns with it getting tipped over. Very happy with this purchase!
