Broken Tooth Hazard!
When you changed the recipe on the once-delicious berry cereal, you ruined the taste. So I switched to the Peanut Butter one…only to find that the hard clusters in this one are a tooth breaking hazard! C’mon Kashi, you need to address this- obviously many of the reviews call this out, so you are aware. Put your customers before your profits and fix this!

Hazardous hard matter in cereal
This is to inform you that our latest purchase of Peanut Butter Crunch contained extremely hard pieces of cereal which adversely stressed my teeth When I bit into it. It almost felt like a piece of stone. Hopefully my teeth involved will recover. Lot: BSC A10 21 59 use by Nov 14, 2026

Not my favorite cereal anymore
I am so very sad to give this peanut butter cereal a two star review today. This was my favorite cereal, but the last few boxes have been very bland, tasteless, and filled with big giant chunks of super hard cereal that you could crack a tooth with. I am very sad that my favorite cereal has become my not so favorite cereal. Kashi - I used to buy this all the time and I have no desire to get another box anymore if it’s gonna continue to taste this bad.

Broken tooth agony
They’re so good, when they aren’t breaking your teeth. I literally spit out chunks of broken tooth mixed with cereal and now I have to get it extracted. It hurts so bad why is this allowed on the shelves. Such pain I’m in for trying to eat healthy.

From Favorite Cereal to Flavorless Cardboard
I used to love Kashi Go Peanut Butter Crunch. It used to have actual peanut butter flavor and a good crunch. Now it tastes like bland cardboard. There’s basically no flavor anymore, and the texture is awful — it’s so dry and hard that it’s actually difficult to chew. I’ve literally had pieces get stuck and make me choke while eating it. I don’t know what changed, but it’s a huge downgrade from what it used to be. Really disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite cereals.

I randomly decided to buy this for my picky daughter who needs more protein. We love the crunch and the taste! Not super sweet and good flavor. I was surprised to see all the negative comments but I didn’t ever try old recipe. The texture is great for cereal or on the go snack in a bag.

Faint peanut butter taste, but what got me is how grainy it is. The longer it sits in the milk, the more unpleasant it becomes, and can’t even drink the milk because you’re just getting a bunch of grainy bits. It just becomes nasty by the end of it. Sad, I wanted to like it.

Here are the changes.
If anyone wants to know why it taste different I found an old label from before and compared to to my new box. The quick answer is they removed the barley and substituted triticale in. Oat fiber was added and finally the one everyone taste .....they reduced the amount of peanut butter. Before it was ahead of brown rice syrup on the list indicating it the weights of the ingredients but now it falls below. This was most like to save cost and increase volume. But isn't that always the case? Companies need to learn about not messing with a good thing.

Horrible recipe change
Very weak peanut taste, sandy texture, and random rock-hard chunks like others have said. I thought I was crazy but they definitely did change the ingredients sadly. Also got a stomach ache. Change it back!
