UPPAbaby Mira V1 Baby Bouncer and Rocker - Charlie

I have the baby bjorn and the Mira. Dare I say I like the Mira more???? There is a lining that is in the Mira that makes it easy to clean when there is a blowout instead of taking off the entire lining. We had MANY blowouts during our bouncer time so that was frequently a problem with the Bjorn.

I just received this as a baby shower gift. My baby was born 3 weeks ago, 6 pounds for reference. While I want to love this, it's sooooo squeaky I can't stand to hear it. It was brand new out of the box when I started using it. I wanted it for the features and ease of use. However, it's sad that it's so expensive yet so loud. If I would have saved the box this would be getting returned!

I'm so disappointed in this product. I got it as a gift for my newborn and was initially so excited for it. But it's so stiff that it's not actually a bouncer. It's just a chair. It's taken my daughter awhile but now she tolerates it. It's also very difficult to put baby in and out of. Overall wouldn't recommend.

Little one loves her bouncer! Mom & dad love how easy it is to set up and fold (basically flat) when it's time to tidy up. Material washes well. This bouncer follows me around the house with my newborn - great for bathrooms, bedroom as mom gets ready, and backyard for comfortable hang-outs!

I borrowed a BabyBjorn bouncer and needed to return it. The Mira offered nice features and a great price. It is prettier, easier to use, comes with infant insert and a nice carrying bag. Unfortunately, the bounce isn't nearly as smooth as BabyBjorn's. The movement is very stiff and harsh. My baby could bounce herself in the BabyBjorn, but the Mira is too stiff for her to move it.

My toddler loves it even past the newborn/infant stage. It's so cute to watch he have her own little seat to chill in.

Before this product was available I had the baby bjorn bouncer bliss that we absolutely loved. However, my baby was in the 98% percentile by 4 months and due to the 20lb weight limit she outgrew the baby bjorn bouncer very quickly. I chose to spend the money and get the Uppa Baby Mira since it had a higher weigh limit and would grow with my daughter. I also love that this chair comes with the cary bag vs the baby bjorn brand being separate. I was also able to still use my Baby Bjorn toy bar on this chair! My daughter loves it and it is excellent quality. I wish this was available when I had my baby shower but would highly recommend to anyone trying to decide between products and find the right bouncer!

I don't even know where to start. There are so many wonderful things we love about this bouncer and so far the only bouncer our son loves! This bouncer is very easy to collapse and travel with. The trigger is in the front and the bouncer comes with a travel bag as well! The insert easy to remove, so far our son prefers no insert because the mesh liner allows air flow to keep him cool. I saw there is a toy bar accessory soon to be released and we cannot wait to try it out!

The best part about this bouncer is taking it on the go. Lightweight, easily collapses flat, and the included storage bag is a bonus. We would easily throw this in the car to go to the inlaws!

The fit, adjustments for seat angles, and ability to tighten the strap that holds her in makes this a very snug but comfortable bouncer. The look is what you expect from UppaBaby, very modern, aesthetically pleasing, high quality materials. The plush insert is a great addition that allows you to make it extra cozy while have the option to remove it and expose a mesh back liner to stay cool. I really appreciate the weight of this bouncer, especially compared to another we own from another high quality brand- the UppaBaby bouncer gives us confidence that she can't knock herself over despite the angle she might be set at. The natural wood feature is a very nice aesthetic touch. The adjustment handle is pretty straightforward if you follow the manual, and it takes one use to get used to. I appreciate that it's quick to adjust, but also has a safety component that would make it unlikely that the seat could erroneously change positions. In time we are certain that even as our daughter grows, the ability to use this as a toddler seat combined with the meaningful base weight gives us confidence this bouncer will have longevity beyond our others. While the weight gives confidence that it will not tip, it's certainly not so much that it's inconvenient to carry- we take this bouncer all over the place without issue, which gives credit to the carrying case they include as well. Overall we give this bouncer a five start rating, and deservedly so. We have a baby bjorn bouncer that my girl loves so I was excited to try this one. Overall, the bouncer is great. The ease of the adjustment being on the front of the seat is a definite plus. I found the comfort insert to be in the way mostly. It is harder to get baby in and out with the insert installed so we used it without. Aesthetically, I love this seat. The wood gives it a quality feel and I'm definitely a fan. My 8 month old had a harder time bouncing in this seat than our other one. She wasn't able to get the bounce she likes to keep her comfortable. Overall we like this bouncer and use it as a second seat that we keep downstairs when we are hanging out down there.

The portability makes it the perfect seat when I need to help big sister, do housework, shower, or even use the bathroom (iykyk, parents!) because I can easily bring it along wherever I go and trust that my baby is safe, secure, and happy. My baby is going through a period of separation anxiety lately and often won't let Mom put her down without crying, but she loves her bouncer seat. We can bounce her with our foot or she can kick and play and bounce herself. I love that this bouncer is easy to clean and maintain. Machine washable fabrics are absolutely essential when choosing baby products. The mesh fabric is perfect for all seasons, indoor and outdoor use, and the cozy liner is so soft and snuggly. It cradles my baby and she looks very comfortable. The seat easily folds flat for storage or travel and comes with a convenient bag. The bouncer has 3 recline levels and can be used from birth and beyond. The parent facing recline feature making adjusting easy. This bouncer is a bit of an investment, but it's a 2-in-1 design that transitions to a toddler chair that my baby can continue to enjoy for years. I only wish it included the toy bar. Without including the toy bar the price is a bit steep for me personally; however, upon searching it does seem to be a typical price point among name brands for similar products. I truly appreciate that UPPAbaby takes baby safety seriously. They take that extra steps to obtain GREENGUARD Gold, JPMA, and FSC certifications and put their products through rigorous safety testing to exceed product safety standards. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used this bouncer for a few weeks now and really do love it. My 7 month old fit perfectly and had enough support. He looked comfortable and enjoyed being able to use for lounging or bouncing. I appreciated the fact that the recline features face the parent, as opposed to how it is set with other bouncers. It was relatively easy to use and adjust the 3 levels. It folds up so easily! We can store behind our couch, against the wall, wherever when not in use. I love how easy to clean the fabric is (major win for a little guy who spits up often). The wooden details make it look nicer than other bouncers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only regret about the uppa baby 'Mira' bouncer is that we didn't get it sooner. My son is now almost a year old, but I know that if we could have had it when he was a newborn, we definitely would have used it daily. I used this bouncer while cooking in the kitchen so that baby can be right there watching me, and can even take a little nap if he's tired. I also used it a few times in the bathroom while I was in the shower and getting ready. I really was surprised by how nice the bouncer looked. I'm not into a bunch of bright, rainbow colors. Don't get me wrong, my son is not a sad beige baby or anything- but I still love when baby gear is visually appealing. If I have choices to purchase a rainbow colored item vs a nice looking neutral colored item, I will go for the neutral one every time. I hate when an expensive item that is loved by my baby is a giant eye sore. My son really enjoyed sitting in the bouncer because he was able to bounce himself. He loved the feeling of bouncing up and down and was able to sit in there (with a toy in hand or video playing) for as long as I needed him to. I liked the soft insert but since my son is older, I never used it. I could definitely see how it would be a huge benefit for smaller babies though. When I felt it, it was very soft and cozy and I imagine would be very comfortable. I thought the parent-facing recline adjustment was a great feature. You can really tell that uppababy is a high end brand because of all the convenience features that other brands don't have. I liked that there was a handle to hold on to while carrying the bouncer. And the fact that it has a bag to store it in is amazing. It was super easy and light weight to move around. The portability was a big part of my 5 star rating. We moved it A lot from room to room, even downstairs to upstairs. A great feature is how little space it takes up when not in use. Since our living room and bedroom is filled with things for our baby, I like to fold up the bouncer when not in use and put it in the corner of the room against the wall. It barely takes up any space, which is so nice because so much other baby gear takes up a ton of space, when in use or not. I would have liked if the toy bar came with the bouncer, but it is nice to have the option to purchase separately. I was given this product as part of the Stella product testing panel. We love that it is easily adjustable, stores flat when not in use and that the materials are greenguard gold certified. Since our little one tends to run hot we use it without the sherpa insert but it is nice to have it as an option. The Charlie color blends in great with our home decor. Our daughter loves being bounced by us while she reclines back in it. I also think it's a product that we'll use for a long time due to the fact that she has plenty of room to grow in it still.

It's a lifesaver to be able to put the baby it in while I make dinner or run to the restroom and I can know that he's safe. He seems very comfy in it. I liked that the (very cute) fur lining was removable so that you can make it suit your needs depending on temperature. The forward facing height adjustment is handy since it' would be otherwise awkward to adjust the height if the baby is already in it. I love that the seat is super easy remove for washing and the neutral color fits into any decor without becoming a focal point. The touch of wood looks really nice as well and I love that it's made from sustainable materials. I also love that the seat is deep so that baby's legs don't hang straight down, which I've heard isn't good for hip development. It looks more comfortable on his hips than our previous bouncer. With as many baby products as there are to buy, I appreciate that this can be used for a long time as a seat once he's older. We've only used this as a bouncer so far, but I can see how it would be great to have as a toddler chair, especially given that it comes with the handy carrying case for travel. Th e only things I would change are 1) that I wish the wood detail was the same finish on the front edge and 2) that the bouncer went a little bit more vertical now that baby is able to hold his head up and we want him off the back of his head. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 6 months, my little one is 15 lbs and fits comfortably in the bouncer. She mostly uses it as a lounger. The seat seems very stiff, so getting the seat to bounce is a little tough. I'm thinking it may just take some time to loosen up little bit and bounce easier. I love the fabrics in this bouncer. The main seat is breathable while the insert is extra soft and great for cooler temperatures. Both are easy to wash too. I appreciate the aesthetics of the bouncer. The fabric, wood and overall style look sophisticated and doesn't scream baby toy while being completely functional for my little one. The parent facing recline is great too because it made adjusting through the levels so much easier. I also like how I will be able to use this seat as my little one gets older. Right now it's great as a lounger/bouncer entertaining her while I get ready in the mornings or do chores here and there. Then as she gets older she can use it as seat to read her books in. Overall, I love the thought that went into the design of this bouncer, from the insert, to the carry bag, to the parent facing recline feature. I can definitely tell a parent designed it! She is already mobile, so she isn't a fan of anything that keeps her contained for more than a few minutes. You can tell that she is definitely comfortable in the bouncer and I love that it has both mesh for warmer weather and the removable cozy material as well. It is aesthetically pleasing and comes in three nice neutral colors. The selling points for me are the easy adjust angle. Not having to flip the bouncer over to adjust is a game changer. I also love how the lowest recline is almost laying flat. That would have been super helpful when she was a newborn and the lowest angle of the bouncer we had wasn't flat enough. I also like the high weight limit to use as a seat as she gets older. The angle is interesting for that feature; so I'm interested in seeing how that works. The only two points that I don't love is there is no buckle to easily get baby in and out and it is pretty heavy compared to other bouncers. I don't move it around enough to matter, but carrying it up/down stairs in one hand and baby in another wouldn't be super convenient. Overall, I think this is a great option from birth + and I would recommend it for those in the market for a bouncer.
