Excelent, expect the timer
This set has been useful for my 3 year old. It helps easier transitions, I just set the magnets in the order the things will happen and he picks it up so quickly, no tantrums anymore. That’s has been a great solution for my family. Now, the timer. It looks cute, well made, BUT it plays for a short period, like quick 3 short beeps. I wish it played for a bit longer like 5-6 beeps or so, they definitely could improve it.

Good product
This is a wonderful addition to the play kitchen. Our 3 year old looked at the pictures in the recipe book and immediately wanted to make what was in the picture. We even had to go out and buy a bamboo tray so it looked exactly like the picture. He was pretty enthusiastic about it! Good product.

This was given as a
This was given as a gift to my great niece and nephew. My niece, their mother loves it as to the kids. It keeps them motivated to do the things they’re supposed to do. . I would highly recommend this to any parent or grandparent.

Magnets are fun but timer is wonky
I like the idea and the magnets! But the timer goes off randomly. It will be sitting untouched and randomly start beeping.

Great for Establishing Daily Routines!
Parents wanting their toddler to understand daily routines should find this mini kit very helpful. The “first” and “then” magnet cards are great for mapping out simple routines. The board has room to build longer sequences as toddlers grow, so that is great. However, there are no magnets with number cues, nor is the board designed with a slot in the back like the Daily Helper Board, where you can add a card with number cues at the top. Our daughter has been breaking down various routines into numbered steps, and it would have been nice to see number cues incorporated into the design. We already have the timer from the main play kit subscription, and the timer has been super helpful in managing screen time.

Came at the right time
I love this set because this couldn’t have come at the right time. We are in the middle of toilet training for my toddler and the first then card is a good visual reminder of their expectations. The timer is great too for when we need to transition to less fun activities like meal time or bedtime. Love this set and its perfect for toddlers who have strong preferences.

Amazing for Toddlers who Struggle with Transitions!
My son loves helping to plan our day with visual cues paired with an interactive timer that helps keep transitions smooth! Parents and toddlers will love how this keeps routines going and keeps transitions tantrum free. I wish I had these Lovevery books and methods with my oldest two children, but I’m thankful to have these now and love sharing how they work so well for our family!

Routine is key
I love how developmentally appropriate this mini kit is. Starting at around 18 months toddlers begin to understand two step directions. As they get older you can replace the “first” and “then” magnetic slides and replace with more imagined to demonstrate next steps! It’s empowering for the toddler, eliminate power struggle, and can be a great tool for toddlers who struggle with transitions with the timer it comes with!

Is it worth it?
Absolutely! This kit takes those stressful, abstract concepts of “time to stop” and “what’s next” and turns them into a tangible process my little one can manage. It’s all about giving them the structure they crave and the autonomy they need!
