Women's Floral Print Shirred Balconette Underwire Bikini Top - Shade & Shore™ Blue/Pink 36D

For starters, sizing is so far off. I shopped specifically for "Shade & Shore" swimsuit because I love my current one from 2 summers ago, thinking "ok, Im able to buy the swim top in my actual bra size. " This is clearly no longer the case. Shade & Shore went off into left field and must have changed their sizing, I dont know what country's sizing chart they are now going off of but it has changed and no longer is correct or consistent. I am a 34D, and my older shade & shore swimsuit is a 34D and fits perfectly. This blue floral one I just purchased I noticed reviews said to size up- I did just that and went up a size to a 34DD. I cannot fasten the back, the cups must be a B cup, even the 34" portion is too tight. The print is not nearly as vibrant as shown, it is very dull in person. Something I could have settled for had the sizing actually work out, considering nothing is up to standards I rate this a 1 star.

Love this bikini top with matching bottoms. It fit me perfectly - I bought my regular size 34B. Not sure what other reviewers were referring to since my sizing was perfect

once you try on the correct size in the store it fits great. I'm normally a 36c-38b and the 38d fit for some funny reason. I think the cups are way too small so maybe go up a couple cup sizes to make the band longer

This top is super cute. I love the colors and print. However, it runs ridiculously small. I am a 36C, and I usually get a 38 or 40 in swim tops because most do run small or tight and I hate any kind of sploodge, lol. I can usually wear a M in swim tops that don't have the band/cup sizing. I got this in a 38D, which is the largest band size offered. And I sized up in cup based on other reviews. The cup size was fine, but the band was insanely tight. I could get it on, but it was so uncomfortable and unflattering. I got the matching bottoms, which also fit small. But since I couldn't size up any more in the top, I had to return the whole set. This is more on par with Juniors sizing, which is uncommon for Shade & Shore.

Sizing is way off! I bought this in a 36DD and another very similar style (same brand) in a 36D - the (correctly sized) top fits almost a little loose, this one I could barely clip and the cups are way too small. The other Shade and Shore bikini tops I bought in large also fit perfectly. It’s just this one top. Super disappointing because it was my favorite print and the matching bottoms are great. I was hoping it was just mine that was mislabeled, but other reviews are the same now.

Something is totally off with the sizing - like they got something mixed up in the factory for this top. The 36DD is more like a 32C. The cup and band are both wrong. I lined this up against an accurate 36DD in the store, same brand just different style, and you can see the major difference in cup sizes - there’s at least a 1” difference in fabric.

Suuuuuper small. If you’re going to buy, size up 1-2 in the back size and at least 1 cup size. I’ve purchased this brand before and have had no issues, but this swimsuit was so weird? The bottoms ran small too. I would probably skip this one. The sizing is off.

I purchased a very similar style Shade & Shore two piece suit last summer and LOVED the quality combined with how flattering it was. I was SO excited to see Shade & Shore release this season’s line with the same styles available in different patterns, so I ordered the size I needed and felt confident based on last year’s sizing. I literally thought I was losing my mind when I tried the top on. The strap was insanely small and the cups—I’m a modest C, and let’s just say, this wasn’t it. Trying on a bad swimsuit is one thing; trying on a swimsuit that should fit and makes you feel like a watermelon wrapped in a rubber band is a next level confidence killer. So I guess there are bonus points for that…in the wrong way. I was so annoyed and confused, so I pulled out last summer’s top and measured the band compared to this purchase—COMPLETE MENTAL REDEMPTION. This season’s band was a full THREE INCHES shorter and the cups fit inside of last summer’s top, which shows that sizing to be way off as well. I love the idea of this top, but I literally have no idea what band + cup size to choose. Do I take a wild guess, throw a dart and see where it lands, or just give up? It’s a roll of the dice, considering the store is sold out of many sizes and I’d have to order a slew of sizes online to possibly be even more frustrated and then have to return them all. This really isn’t that deep, but wow, the top’s sizing is a HUGE sizing miss.

Runs true to size & flattering! Usually bra style bikini tops are not comfortable but this one is 🫶🏻
